I highly recommend Mariam Lavoie's office to handle your Social Security Disability needs! The process of filing on your own can be very overwhelming! They took all of the stress of obtaining medical records and filing paper work off of me. I filed in November of 22 and had an approval by April of 23. They were great with communication throughout the process and were never bothered if I called with a question. Mariam is very straightforward and honest. I have never had an attorney's office be as patient and kind as they were. They truly care about the people they are representing. Mariam and the entire office staff were beyond wonderful to deal with and I am extremely grateful to them! DON'T BOTHER LOOKING FOR ANYONE ELSE! CALL THEM!

I have been a Rhode Island attorney for over 30 years. Recently I needed a Social Security Lawyer for my disabled nephew. I asked around my lawyer network for who everyone felt was the best Social Security / Disability Lawyer in the State. Everyone in my group agreed it was Mariam Lavoie. I booked a meeting with Mariam and accompanied my nephew to his first appointment. Mariam and her staff were amazing. Prior, to the first meeting I was impressed with the simple and easy instructions that were emailed as to what the client needed to do before coming to the office. Then at the first meeting, Mariam spent over an hour explaining to my nephew in simple terms exactly what the process was going to be and exactly what he needed to do. Mariam was kind, patient and precise. Mariam and Mariam's staff then gave my nephew and I simple and clear directions as to what the next steps would be. I have worked with other disability law offices that are run like factories, where you meet with a paralegal and maybe see a lawyer for 5 minutes before they rush you out the door.
