Estelle's™ Italian Specialty Sauces is named after my grandmother Estelle Palmieri, also known as 'Stella,' a 2nd generation Italian who was born and raised in New Jersey. One of 15 children, she had a zest for life, a love for family and a passion for cooking.
My mother Lorraine carries on Estelle's family recipes and traditions, cooking them to perfection! Both women embraced traditional Neapolitan cooking to make every meal and holiday a special and delicious experience. Creating Estelle's™ has been an honor for me. I hope I can bottle my Grandmother's and Mother's passion for cooking and family and allow you to share my experience.
Grandma's Special Sauce is what we refer to as Christmas spaghetti sauce made every Christmas Eve. Its unique blend of garlic and anchovy creates a depth of flavor you will want time and time again. The anchovy ingredient adds to celebrating the seven fishes of Christmas Eve tradition. This Sauce is best when served over Vermicelli spaghetti and topped with finely grated Pecorino Romano cheese!
Grandma's Marinara Sauce is a meatless sauce that is simple yet delicious. It is best when served over angel hair pasta, spaghetti or ziti and topped with finely grated Pecorino Romano cheese!
