Estes has taken care of our family members for generations. Paul was so kind and explained next steps-before, during and after the funeral which made things easier. Many people commented on how good my mom looked-the makeup artist was great. Excellent service from everyone.
Estes Leadley handled the funeral services for both of my parents. The funeral director was patient, compassionate, and always available to answer questions and make any changes I asked for. The viewings and funerals were as good as funerals can be. My parents looked as if they were sleeping peacefully. The staff were all friendly and helpful. If I ever need funeral services in Michigan again, I will definitely be calling Estes-Leadley. In addition, my ex-husbands family continues to use the services of Estes-Leadley for all of their funeral needs as well with nothing but positive things to say. I give 5 stars and highly recommend Estes-Leadley to anyone in need of funeral services.
Estes Leadly handled my dads funeral a quite while ago and I am finally getting around to giving them a review. I have been in the florist industry for a lot of years and have always been impressed with Steve, Jeremy, Paul and the rest of the gang at Estes but until I had them involved in a close family members passing did I realize how compassionate the entire staff and owners are. They helped to make funeral planning easy and made it a very thoughtful event . Thank you all for all of your kindnesses.
Estes was wonderful with us when my dad passed unexpectedly in 2012. They made the arrangements to bring him home from the Cleveland Clinic. They did not pressure us into anything and helped as a go between with the life insurance company. They also helped with obtaining death certificates for us. They were very compassionate. The same is true still. A few weeks ago they took care of once again with my grandmother's funeral.
They don’t even deserve 1 star. The way they mishandled my dads funeral Lance Lynch and his assistant should be in jail. They took his wedding ring and other jewelry off my dad and lied to my mom and said he was buried with it. The jewelry was later found in a desk drawer. They canceled my dads last alarm with the fire department and sent the fire trucks away. His interment was 3 hours away and we followed the cars. We arrived about 5 minutes after them. The casket still wasn’t placed over the grave and cars were still pulling in. The assistant screamed at my mom, grabbed her shoulders and shook her for making him wait. After the funeral we as a family met with Lance Lynch to discuss our concerns and all he did was bully and threaten my mom. I’ve waited a long time to tell people what a crook he is. Don’t go there. I now work in the grief industry and I can’t believe he’s still in business. Funerals are so expensive, give it to someone who isn’t a snake. Your loved ones deserve better.
