Offering proactive opportunities to build community and alternative means to address crime, wrongdoing and conflict in a restorative manner.
Estes Valley Restorative Justice Partnership (EVRJP) is a joint effort between the Estes Park Police Department and a 501c3 nonprofit. This collaboration enables EVRJP to serve the entire Estes Valley with restorative programming.
Our programs include Community Group Conference, for offenses referred by the police, DA, municipal and county court; Restorative Community Mediation, for interpersonal/organizational disputes; Facilitated Conversations, to address problems/conflicts that impact organizations or groups of individuals; Community Circles, for parolees reentering the community following release from incarceration; Student Support & Accountability Circles, for at-risk students at Estes Park Middle and High school; and Girls Circle and The Council for Boys and Young Men, proactive strengths-based programs for youth ages 9-18.
Because living in a peaceable community improves the quality of life for all, Estes Valley Restorative Justice Partnership facilitates innovative proactive and responsive programs that empower the entire community to engage in the restorative principles of respect, repair, responsibility, reconciliation, reintegration and relationship. EVRJP – Restoring community one relationship at a time.
