This place is a joke and they make our systems look flawed and rigged if you have enough money.. sad and pathetic, including the window workes that act as if they dont know about something that is their job to know..

I was assigned a court date; I showed up for court; I was told that I didn’t have a court date. The clerks were courteous as they helped me apply for a court date. So, in essence, I had to show up to court, tell the clerk I am contesting a ticket I had already done this online that was issued illegally , according to the officer who pulled me over, and then fill out a paper stating I want a court hearing. Complete waste of time for everyone involved! This type of stupidity makes me more determined to expose the corruption within both the police department and the court system.

God forbid you’re a runner lately cause the clerks will let you sit here for 30-40 before they call your number so they can loudly gossip back and forth!

The water from the fountain tastes like it came out of a sewer! I don't think they've ever change the filters on the water fountain! GROSS! And secondly it seems like half of the employees don't know what they're doing!

A man that I moved in with acted very strange & Almost stabbed me. I requested a restraining order and they denied my request. The city is dark and honestly doesn’t follow the constitution. I should have the right to get a restraining order when my life is threatened & when I have valid reasons. Also they were very unprofessional and the rent a cops there were very hostile for no good reason when i entered the court room. They would not provide their badge numbers or names until I got on the phone with 911, i felt very threatened there. Even the 911 operator said I can’t give you any advice that’s legal in your situation. I had a horrible, very suspicious experience at this place. If anything do a video chat or online call. This place sucks.

This 5 Star review is for Flora going the extra mile to make sure the correct reports were filed , Romona Maestas for her knowledge, kind nature, fantastic customer service and Mayra for helping me along with this very demanding situation. I was a manager for 20 plus years and these 3 are the type of employees you pray for. Without their patience & excellent customer service, I would never have been able to follow thru on a court judgment from a uninsured motorist. Thank you

Denied me my right to file notice. Also denied me the right to file counterclaim. Also denyied right of self representation. This is a kangaroo court. I have video proof if anyone even cares. Avoid at all costs

It was suggested that I try filing an order of protection through the Justice Court after the City Court turned me away because I was “too late”. Luckily the justice court is located right around the corner, so I ran. First thing you’ll notice is the justice court building is beautiful, clean, and modern. Even more surprising, there was no wait to be seen. I was able to fill out a petition, testify before a judge, and receive copies of the restraining order in under 20 minutes. I was most impressed by the customer service. The woman at window 21 actually took the time to walk with me to the courtroom and back downstairs to ensure everything went smoothly. She was literally with me every step of the way. Compared to the way I was treated at city court, this place was a sanctuary. Ten thumbs up !
