ETG was founded in 1982 by Mark Madsen and Lori Mason. Lori and Mark are recognized as early pioneers in the Seattle coffee scene. Although Mark left this earth in 1988, Lori has continued to build upon the heralded ETG tradition of crafting great coffee beverages and baking fresh pastries every day. This year, Lori began small batch roasting the very best single variety organic coffees purchased from small farms and cooperatives in Central America, Indonesia and Africa.
