High quality room service, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, and helpful staff. The restaurant in the casino was easily the least enjoyable part of our stay. The casino has lots of interesting games and attractions that me and my son enjoyed, 9/10 would come again.
Nice, big room with comfy beds. Exactly what I was hoping for! The room seemed well soundproofed as I heard nothing from neighbors. Not even the shower, toilet flush or closing doors. K-cup coffee maker and bathroom soaps were nice! The TV was small, reception not great for OTA, but good for cable channels. Front desk staff was awesome and very accommodating! Bottled water and recyclable pillow case available for a fee. A nice touch. Morning coffee available in the lobby. Perfect for overnight but will definitely consider an extended visit! Don't hesitate if staying in the area. This is the place!
Beds are hard as can be. Not sure what those flat things on the beds are but they certainly aren't pillows. Our room smelled like an outhouse when we opened the door, had to open a window to air things out. Room was like a dungeon. All the lights turned on and still felt like there wasn't enough light. No mention anywhere that they charge for parking but expect a $10/day charge for parking. 2nd room much better. Lights were bright, room smelled much better. Pillows were still very lacking. Even rolling them up you can't call it a pillow. Not looking to stay here again if there is another choice of lodging in Mesquite Rooms: Beds are hard as can be. My overall stay was good. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. I was in a standard room so, no fridge or microwave, which is odd to me that these would not come standard in a standard hotel room. Especially, since it is in the middle of the desert, you'd think they'd put a fridge in every room. Don't plan to store cold beverages or food in your room during your stay. The shower in my room had a rainfall shower head that was unadjustable. There's a nice size laundry room with reasonable prices to wash & dry which is very convenient. Expect to walk a little distance from your car if you can't find parking within the first row of parking spaces right in the center, front of the hotel. Parking spans the length of the building. It's a long building. There's only one side door on the far side of the building and that is locked at 9pm. There's no other door to enter into but main entrance afterwards.
Stayed at the Eureka Hotel... No mini refrigerator.. No microwave.. $5 if you want to use a 'special' pillowcase.. $4 if you drink their bottle water. We usually stay at a cheaper hotel with better offerings.. Most places were booked because some special events going on.Rooms: 4/5
So the customer service was just fine, I have no complaints about the staff. My negative experience was with the bugs, one cockroach and two crickets in our room. It was late when my husband and I got to the room and headed to bed so I didn't bother calling the front desk, but the roach climbing on the wall over the bed was gross, both crickets were behind the same bed chirping. One other thing that isn't a big deal but surprised me were the two $4 water bottles in the room. If you need to use a plastic bottle, the gas station right around the corner has a cold 6 pack of them for $3.
Ate across the walkway in casino at Gregorys Mesquite grill and was the best food, service and experience. Will stay again just to enjoy that restaurant!! Don't forget to ask for Oscar/Tito when you go to the restaurant. They made the night perfect by answering every need before it was needed.Rooms: 5/5
They nickel and dime you for everything. No "in-room" fridge unless you pay extra...you pay resort fees which are hidden until you get there... no continental breakfast ... which makes things worse because the food choices around town are not great... staff is really nice and all...just not an ideal place IMHORooms: 2/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. All around good vibe at both the hotel and the casino. The café serves their Caesar salad in a parmesan bowl and my wife loved it.
They just changed the way they do free play and food comps. They are not giving any out. They are trying to go out of business. The regulars have all said they will spend their money at virgin river were they give out free play and food comps. Good luck staying in business. I am joining the boycott of Eureka.Rooms: 4/5
