The staff of the Evans-Gordon Funeral Home is first rate. They were patient with my Mom and I during a very stressful time. I will always be grateful for their empathy and sincerity. The team was extremely professional and made us feel like family.
I Highly recommend the Evans-Gordon Funeral Home. The level of empathy, professionalism and care shown to me during my darkest hour will never be forgotten. The stress of having to lay my Mother to rest was smoother with their support. This is not the first time my family has utilized their services and each time the service has been top notch!

They did an awesome job with my uncle and went beyond and above to make sure he was layed to rest handsomely. From the first day I went The service was very professional. I was a nervous wreck but the young gentleman that took care of us he made me feel so comfortable. He went over everything with me. Never at one time did he pressure me to get this ad to get that. Excellent excellent professional customer service. From the beginning to the ending they walked with me and talk with me every step of the way. FIVE STARS!! THANK YOU FOR ALL you so much, My Mom looked like a True Queen that She Is. By looking at her no one would have ever known that she was very ill. When I was told to come view her, I was so sad and Scared. Saying God please please let them make my mom look good. And when I seen my mom I did not cry. I couldn’t cry, I thought I was going to but the work that they did on my mom she looked absolutely gorgeous. I just sat there and stared at her for a while In awe!!! Everyone at the church was saying how beautiful my mom looked. It Bless my heart and my family that you took excellent care my mom. From the bottom of my heart I say thank you A job well done.
First I will say they did an ok job with the deceased as far as how she looked on the day of the service however, their compassion and professionalism towards the family was terrible. In the middle of the service we were arguing with the owner because he would not allow two people that came in that wasn’t suppose to be there leave and the two people, the deceased daughters to come in. The. I’m wasn’t working properly. The service was rushed. The owner had no compassion for the grieving family and was way out of line. He needs to retire because he has lost his patience and you can’t treat people that way. Dealing with this funeral home was exhaustive and draining and it was a very unpleasant experience. Please save yourself the headache and don’t use this place. I wish I didn’t have to leave this review but it must be said. Maybe the owner will read this and realize that his actions are unacceptable as he is the business to deal with people. Mr. Gordon what you need to understand is that you are in the business of customer service. It may be a business for you but you are dealing with grieving families. You need to treat every family as if this was your first time because it may very well be for the family.
From the very first phone call until the day of burial for my dad, Robert Gordon and the Evans-Gordon Family were very compassionate, professional and caring. They took charge and handled all affairs, kept me abreast of everything either with a phone call or email, and handled the service in a way none of us have ever witnessed before. The entire staff was professional and there are not enough words to express the gratitude from the Samuel Family. We pray for their continued success!
Had my sister’s memorial here yesterday. Everything, looked beautiful. But the service was supposed to be from 11am-1pm. By 11:50 am they were taking her things down and closing out the service. By 12:20 they locked the doors and we were all standing outside.My mother chose this place hoping to get better treatment here than you would at a larger commercial funeral home, wow was she wrong.‍
I have done business with them on several occasions and they are simply the best,they go above and beyond to make the process of taking care of arrangements easier for the family but most of all they are honest and straightforward with what they offer and the prices
As a member of the McDaniel Family I am insulted by the way my cousins funeral was handled. The fact that the free version of Zoom was used during this world crisis is insulting and has definitely left us incomplete. As a business it would not hurt to invest in something that would support a large capacity of viewers since we are unable to actually attend in person. I am highly insulted by the service.
Ok yall really have to up your zoom plan. The free plan only allows 100 viewers for 40 minutes. I can not even view my cousins funeral and out of all the money you all are getting you have the free plan. Very upset...
