At Executive Martial Arts, the focus is on the true meaning of martial arts: The Art of War and Combat. Specifically, EMA's style of training is Hapkido.
The Owner and Founder of Executive Martial Arts is John Walker Jr. John is an Erie native, and had joined the US Navy, and eventually earned his spot as a US Navy SEAL. He served his country for 10 years as a SEAL, and he always wanted to return to his home front and make a difference to his community.
In addition to serving his country, John found tremendous appeal to the art of Hapkido, which is traditionally a combat-styled martial arts.
His teachings came from the shadow of the Founder of Hapkido, and he went on to learn directly from the Founder of Hapkido himself.
John is currently an eighth degree black belt, which his belt tests were done directly with the Korean government.
John how trained up a group of men to become second degree black belts, as well as great instructors. While John oversees the program, the instructors he's developed will handle the bulk of the training at Executive Martial Arts.
However, John makes sure that he stays involved with many of the teaching and demonstrating. With his vision of the true meaning behind martial arts as a whole, he invests his heart into teaching men/women and boys/girls the disciplines of life and how to become not just someone who can protect oneself, but someone who becomes well manned, educated, and disciplined individuals.
