Im not the one to ever leave reviews, actually my first time. I would not recommend it! At first it seem great because of all the reviews and was my first time renting a storage unit. 2 months later or so, the price went up AND saw spiders and rat feces, even ask another customer if they had any feces in their unit and they did! I don't know about the other locations, or other storage units having similar issues but this sadly just wasn't it.
I’ve had great experience working with this Extra Space branch. I must say that Rasheda is an incredible member of the staff at this location. She is very kind, understanding, and great at finding solutions to help meet customer needs. Employees like her are the reason I will continue to rent space at this location.
I really enjoyed the clean facility. And working with Jodie was. Offering a pleasant experience in itself but she was very thirsty and professional
Beware, they will jack up your rates as fast as they can. We started paying $155/mo and after only 4 months were up to 235 and now it’s over 270 a year later.
I’ve been renting maybe a year. My rates increased like the 2nd month. The male manager was awesome . This new manager Rasheeda is very unprofessional. I was behind set to auction , so I called and asked them to lower some of the fees this lady blocked me , never contacted the area manager. I guess she thought I wasn’t going to pay it. Well I did and I had to contact 1800 number just to speak with an area manager, which I felt she was very nonchalant about it. There shouldn’t be a manager, that takes her job so personal that she blocks customers from contacting the store .
Overall great experience at Extra Space Storage in West Sacramento. Fair pricing and easy to access if you live in downtown Sacramento. The process was quick and easy, allowed us to start utilizing the storage space the following day. If you plan to stop by to sign up, call ahead. We didn’t call ahead and the employee was at lunch, so we had to wait a little bit, but that’s our fault for not calling before showing up.
Rasheda is awesome !! She keeps this location really really clean and she is so helpful. Thank you for your excellent customer service !!
We have had great luck with E.S.S. but last week was disappointing, to say the least . We needed a larger locker to store our items so I went in to handle the switch. I was told by the manager that my husband was the only one who could do that. She checked and my name was in the account. She has taken almost every payment from me for the monthly rental.I gave her the option to allow me to switch the account I would get a noterized letter that gave me power of attorney and they said it was the policy of the company to allow only the first person to close out the account. Tom has moved away and has offered a video call and other possibilities that might solve the problem all she said was NO NO NO! I'm sure this has nothing to do with prejudice against us? RIGHT!?!?!?????
Excellent customer service, clean and hourly... But every 4th or 5th month the company changes your charges, it means if you start paying $100 cuz you get the price on line in the 4th month you go to pay $200 they change your rate to the market price... I believe it's unfair I try with customers service to keep my rate but the only give me a temporary discount to think if I still there or I move.... I'm so disappointed
Great storage place. Nice staff . The lady that helped me was very informative and cheerful. Very clean and we'll maintained.
