Elisabeth was extremely helpful and sweet. She made sure to make my renting experience as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. The facility itself is the cleanest and well-maintained I've seen in my 20+ years of renting storages. The location is very convenient as well.
Groton CT location is clean, safe and convenient. We were happy with the facility except that at the 3 month mark the rate increased from $107 to $120 and then they increased it a second time a few months later to $127. It feels a little predatory or mercenary for them to offer low rate to get you in and then when they know you’re not going anywhere a few months later they raise the rates. Of course you could leave in protest, but of course they know you won’t. Fortunately we only needed it for 15 months.
Great storage facility! Easy to navigate. Elizabeth provided great customer service whenever I needed it. Overall great experience doing business with them!
I had a space here for 3 years. First, under the name Extra Space, then Cubesmart. When I first started renting, my 5x10 was $160. When it was bought by CubeSmart last year, rent went up to $180. 6 months later I received a notice that my rent was going up to $220. That's insane. No one should be paying that for a storage space. On top of that, there was a leak in my unit and everything has water damage!!!! Mold all over all my furniture completely ruined boxes with items permanently damaged! Do not rent here!
Elizabeth was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process of securing a storage unit on the Gold Star Highway in Groton, CT. Upon arrival at our unit, it was clean and without any lingering odors from the previous tenant. The entire location is clean and well maintained.
What a great experience! Elizabeth, AKA Dory, takes pride in finding the best solution for you and does whatever it takes to provide solutions! The facility is clean and well managed. Highly recommend this facility, and Dory makes it a pleasant experience.
The employee at the Gold Star Hwy ;Groton CT, was very pleasant etc. However I emailed and left a voicemail regarding discontinuing my unit and never received a response. So I drove 45 minutes each way to go in to the office only to find out I was all set. That was extremely frustrating because I have very limited time and wasted time and gas money when a simple email or text saying you received my messages and everything was good.
This is a really well run place, and Elizabeth goes out of her way to help. She lives right by the facility so you’ve got “eyes” on the property all the time. Recommended.
The manager at Groton, Elizabeth has been extremely helpful while I was attempting over several weeks time to have a POD delivered. She helped me rent a storage Cube 2 times, she helped me contact the POD office, and she helped me navigate the email and text sites to contact the POD company. Thanks to her assistance, I was finally able to make contact with the POD company and get final delivery. Her effort went above and beyond what is a usual, easy, quick transaction. Sincere thanks.
