This place charged me $35 for an optomap which they never did and I never agreed to do. They also said they would not refund me my money. The receptionist Veronica was not helpful either. When I asked to speak to billing she would not give me their number or transfer me to billing. I think this would be called fraud. This place has 2 locations in Corpus Christi and are only open certain days at each location. They will not let you transfer between the locations which limits you to 3 days a week you can choose from to go.
I specifically asked for a lantern eye test. They made me an appointment. I went in they have no Lantern Test. That's all I needed for my captain's license. Waste of a week's time waste of 2 hours today. Definitely do not recommend this place. Also took 30 minutes past my appointment time to see someone to learn this.
The Dr and the staff here are very friendly. The Dr explains everything in detail to you on what he is going to do and if he finds anything wrong. He is really good with kids too especially when it's their first time seeing an eye Dr. I recommend this Dr and his office to everyone. He is really good at what he does.
The optometrist asked me if I was a citizen and was very inappropriate mentioned several times how masks were a hoax as his face was 2 feet from mine like bruh, would not recommend going here. The folks at the front are great though.
This is the best eye doctor you can go to! The staff is very friendly & they explain everything to you very perfectly. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable & seeing perfectly!
Dr. Gates is not only extraordinarily thorough, but also takes the time to explain the visual deficits that you may be experiencing and the corrective action that needs to be taken. I highly recommend him.
They are really good at giving you the best possible glasses/contacts that are perfect for your eyes. The staff are kind and take care of the patients well.
Would be nice if the office answered the phone. Every time me or my wife call they don’t answer. Being open for more then 3 days out of the week would be nice with better business hours.
