Fabulous Finds of Frederick

I always go in this store, but after today it will be my last trip! The staff have never been friendly but it never fully bothered me until today when we asked about bringing our headboard and footboard in to sell. The lady said we’re a consignment store. And just looked at us like we were dumb or something. She never said Hi How are you, Thanks for your interest or anything pleasant. I will never go back in this store again!

I'm VERY disappointed in my visit to this store. I'm an interior design artist and Fabulous Finds was recommended to me by a friend also in the interior design field. I stopped in with one of my best clients he came all the way from England, U.K., and we browsed around the store and my client was interested in a few pieces totaling around $3,000.00. On behalf of my client I politely approached the shop keeper to inquire about a few pieces and she rudely before I could finish my sentence stated "WE DON'T HAGGLE!!" I found that to be HIGHLY insulting Yes, I am African American , I felt she racially profiled us. She and Fabulous Finds lost out on a huge sale that day. My client was insulted as well. We found yet a much better treasure of a store just blocks away. I highly recommend Bailey's Treasures the staff there is very friendly and helpful. I would NEVER shop or recommend Fabulous Finds to my worst enemy.

The owner is a very rude individual. She is not friendly I have consigned there several times. Once when I brought in items I was standing in front of her at table while she was checking out my items she told me to back off and stand back further. I was not that close standing to her. I was ready to box up my items and leave. Wish I had done that because I did not deserve to be talked down too. One of these days someone will put this woman in her place. She does not respect others!! Poor quality service. I will not be going there anymore.

Well, a long time friend invited me to take a look around Fabulous Finds. She found a chair worth the price, but the staff was irritable and disinterested in, as a general discussion. I understand my friend went back, thinking, the previous salesperson was having a bad day, to find a new storekeeper just as unprofessional. It's a shame, the store merchandise has a lot to offer.

I live in Frederick a browse this store from time to time. Staff owner! Is very unfriendly. I went it to consign a few things and she was so rude to me. She waved her hand at me and said " don't bother taking anything else out of the box." I asked her why. " It's trash" she scoffed and walked off. Floored to say the least

Went in to ask a question about selling antiques first time seller, admittedly don’t know what I’m doing. The employee who “helped” us scoffed, gave us a look of confusion and said, “We’re a consignment shop? You need at least $100 and an appointment”. Alright, the stank attitude in which she said it could go right in the gutter where it belongs. We had at least $250 in items we are trying to figure out what to do with. We were also told by employees at the Antique Emporium to try this place out, it wasn’t our first option. Won’t be considering coming back here anytime soon.

I love this place. Everytime I visit, there is something new and interesting. From pictures and lamps to clocks and furniture, I have always left the store having bought something. If you see something you like, buy it. As it won't be there the next time you go.

If you're looking for something particular it may not be the place to go. If you're just casually browsing, it's great because the inventory changes regularly. Most styles were on the traditional side, so if you're looking for modern you may not find much. However, since inventory changes often till have to look a few times.

Great Asian pieces and great prices. I sold several items there but have bought many more.

Stopped in. Not a peep from lady at counter. Will not purchase at a store, if they will not even ignolidge my presence.
