Great experience with this very cool store. I am a dealer of MCM furniture and had a good informative conversation with the owner. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do business, but the exchange was professional and I will continue to promote this unique shop.
This vintage store in Frederick, MD has a wide variety of items that can catch the interest of people from many walks of life. I recently found out that they sell spaceman foods soda syrup bottles, which are hard to come by these days. The owner was also able to educate me on the history of them, which added value to my buying experience. I would recommend this store for anyone interested in buying something unique.
A great selection of quality vintage furniture/decor, which I actually found very reasonably priced compared to vintage places elsewhere for similar items, except for the more "collector"-ish items. I've gone a few times in the month since we moved to Frederick, my wife and I bought a rad couch at a fair price, and the owners pretty sure they were the owners? delivered it to our door at a very reasonable fee. Stock seems to rotate frequently, which is great. All in all, cool place, definitely recommend it.
I’m not one to leave reviews, I am a mid century collector and lover and over the years I continue to have bad experiences in this store. I walked in here recently and pointed to a piece of furniture which happened to be a dream collectors item to me. I later learned this piece was NFS which I totally respected and was pointed to the direction of a similar piece that was very broken and aged. I asked how much it was and was spoken to like I wouldn’t be able to afford it. After pulling teeth with the sales associate I felt very talked down on, the price given for the piece was okay? I’ve had several experiences like this unfortunately over the year at this store. Sales associates need to do better and not assume people don’t have money to spend.
Great shop for reasonably priced mid mod furniture of good quality. Easy online purchase process too.
Did someone say DISCOBALLS? This is one of the coolest Vintage Furniture and Home Decor Stores around. They also have a great Vintage Clothes Section.
Love visiting antique/vintage stores on trips and Vintage MC was an instant hit. A lot of well organized variety of items to suite everyone if you are into dishware, plants, furniture, wall decor, table decor, etc.
This is a really beautiful store and the owner def has taste. Overall I give this store 5/5 stars it is gorgeous. The thing stopping me from shopping here is the prices. Not sure if it is the location that is causing the furniture to be so expensive but I have seen the same furniture at other places around town for A LOT lower. I recently just bought a coffee table they had from another retailer for hundreds of dollars less. Honestly do not mind paying a little more but when it becomes hundreds of dollars more I won't budge. I love this store and am so happy to see a mid century style store in town, I hope in the future they will adjust prices to be a little bit more affordable.
Excellent store and super-friendly owners who I really enjoyed talking with. Like lots of people I am into the mid century style and aesthetic. Their store is focused on the furniture, lots of danish modern. And ringing the store is all of the pottery, crafts and “stuff” one would associate with mcm. It’s reasonably priced, and I saw some vintage boonton melamine bowls for only $15. The front counter, interestingly, is cladded with some disassembled GE appliances from the early 60s. It’s in that unmistakable aqua color too! The vibe here is fun and friendly and that’s why I’ll be sure to return. Nice!
Stunning shop space! Lots of vintage items to choose from for every budget, American kitsch to high end Danish modern. Inventory changes weekly with new items coming in from Denmark. You got to stop in and take a look down memory lane, a must see while in Frederick!
