Williamsport Bicycle Recycle is a community workshop which aims to empower people through bicycling. The freedom of going places under your own power, improving your health by getting out outside and exercising, and building your confidence by knowing how to fix your bike when something goes wrong can be transforming. People can bring in their bikes and learn to repair them the help of our mechanics. If they don’t have a bike, they can rebuild one of our donated bikes. Bicycle Recycle holds classes and community bike rides, facilitates art projects using recycled parts, and sells refurbished bicycles at an affordable cost. We accept donations of repairable bikes, bike parts, and bike repair tools. For more info, contact the Directors, Louisa & David Stone: [email protected]
