Great place to find all your organic garden and plant needs, extra friendly and knowledgeable about all phases of plants.

I have had very informative opportunities while visiting and attending classes at Happy Valley Organic Garden Center located on Elmwood Street in State College, Pa. I understand the State College location is the sister store to the original store located in Williamsport, Pa. Brian and his wife, the store owners, have created a very inspirational and natural feeling store environment through the use of functioning plant ecosystem exhibits. Brian is more than willing to explain the differences between each growing system including water quality, plant characteristics, growing mediums, lighting, pest control and much more. With the knowledge gained after talking with Brian, I was able to purchase the very specific as well as appropriate fertilizer for my gardening needs. I was also able to purchase plant starters, unusual garden equipment and cloth containers which are both fun and functional. I look forward to visiting the outdoor display, sales and raised garden bed areas to be completed in the near future. These areas should be finished prior to the grand opening celebration scheduled for April 23, 2016.

Very knowledgeable staff, wonderful selection of plants and growing supplies. It's nice to find this kind of business locally.

I called day before, just before closing time, to make sure theyd b open the next day... because of the reviews here.Didnt want to drive there and then they are closed. Not only were they kind patient and friendly, but when i asked abt next day hours, they said they would be there early and I could come sooner...great product and accommodating staff.

Best garden center I've been to. Helpful staff, lots of displays and a good selection of products make this the best shop in central PA.

how bout a shout out to high tech garden supply.....customer requests=sales! just sayin the key to a successful business is to put yourself in the customers shoes....

Would be great if they were open during posted hours. Drove 30 min to store and waited an hr for no one to show. Thanks OGC.
