Fairbanks Dental Clinic, Ft Hood

I tried to schedule my dental cleaning. First they didn’t answer their phones other clinic sigh in admittance because they know the clinic does that and it goes straight to voicemail. Then I finally contact someone at the clinic and he’s not providing information on my records to confirm scheduling. I’m transferred only to be told, DHA won’t approve a bi-annual cleaning. Although I’m able to receive the bi-annual cleaning, they can’t and won’t give it to me. They also won’t support off post referrals or scheduling thru another clinic on post. I was told if I want to complain, go to ICE, but know it won’t do anything for my situation. This place is a mess. So much for customer care.

I tried to reschedule an appointment. I've always had my appointments there. Never had an issue. Then all sudden they say we don't have any appointments. I can wait 2 weeks or so. But they are seriously that busy they got no appointments for months? They telling me I'd have to go of post for an appointment. The lady sounded so rude and just acts like she hates everything. They can't ever pick up the phone. It's. It's just a horrible place .. these civilians seriously don't care about soldiers at all. Really bad vibes with this clinic. I see why people rate this place with really negative reviews. And from today on 22sep2022 who ever was at the front desk. I kept calling. And they keep ignoring the calls. It rings normally 4-5 times. Then all sudden 2 times. Shel iterally ignored me

They are kind and professional in person as well as over the phone. I spoke with Natalie on the phone and she communicated with me any further notices about tomorrow’s appointment. Hopefully their section is up, but if not then maybe they can refer me to someone else if needed. Either way I have to owe credit where credit is due thank y’all in advance for your service in helping service members like me in this facility. Keep up the great work!

I recently had a wisdom tooth removed while awake for the procedure, they made it a very comfortable experience and I felt nothing it was quick and easy, the after care instructions we very clear and it's now been 24 hours and I still have no swelling or pain even without taking the pain medication I am definitely satisfied with my experience

Good luck calling to set up an appointment they will just hang up on you if they decided to use the phone that the Army gave them. They’re inability to answer the phone is unparalleled.

Staff at the front desk is really rude. You would think if you told someone good morning they’ll say it back. But she didn’t. Instead she was rude. Beware if you ever have to go!!!

Horrible experience. The civilian workers are extremely rude and did not even care about the Dental problem I was having. I asked for my Dental Records and they also refused to give them to me.

I just spent 50 minutes on hold. When I called again she asked if I could hold and when I said no she put me on hold before I could finish the syllable. I do not have the time to be on hold for the duration of my lunch.

This place knows that the government will support its existence no matter what. Fairbanks Dental is the epitome of what happens when companies are not scared of the wrath of their customers. They do way more harm than good and their stinginess leads to people getting their teeth pulled with little to no medication. You're better off getting your teeth pulled in a third world country without any modern technology than to visit this place.
