By far the Best Dentist office I have ever been to. I was looking to find a new Dentist in the area who accepted my new dental insurance and to my surprise this Dentist was right around the corner to my work. From the moment I made the appointment with the office manager, Melissa I knew this was going to be a great Dental office. Melissa was super sweet, friendly and very helpful answering all my questions regarding the insurance they accept, etc.. Then I was greeted by another very friendly and sweet face who was the Hygienist named Roberta, she is so awesome! Roberta went above and beyond any kind of dental cleaning I have ever experience. The Dentist, Dr. Joseph Chuy, DDS is Phenomenal! He took the time to answer all my questions, gave me a very thorough examination and cleaning. I felt great afterwards. My teeth looked brand new. I am so happy that I found Dr. Chuy and his team. I would highly recommend this Dentist to anyone looking for great service and treatment.
Thank God I found Dr. Chuy. Here's the brief story of how I came to find him... I used to rely on Fairwater Dental for all my dentistry needs, but they closed shop in 2018. They were forwarding old patients to a dentistry practice in Altamonte Springs. Even though I was disappointed, I obliged. But my first visit to this Altamonte location was HORRIBLE. You see, this past summer, after eating some very chewy candy, a cap had popped off my back, bottom right tooth. I brought along the cap with me to the appointment. Instead of re-gluing the cap, this Altamonte practice immediately suggested an entirely re-done root canal, a new cap and they prescribed me an antibiotic. It was going to cost me $2,000+ out of pocket!!! Now, I knew this was utterly absurd since I was experiencing no pain whatsoever. I let this dentist know that I'd be getting a second opinion. So I touched base with my former dentist who had retired, the distinguished Dr. Gene Jacobs. I let him know I was looking for a second opinion and did not know where to turn. Dr. Jacobs said he was very excited about Dr. Chuy's new practice in Orlando -- it would be opening up in the old Fairwater Dental location convenient for me! and that I should see him as soon as possible. Thank God I did. Dr. Chuy took x-rays which showed no decay... And he eased all of my concerns. Permanently re-gluing the cap would be nearly cost-free and effortless. And it was. Thank you to Dr. Jacobs for recommending Dr. Chuy to me. And thank you Dr. Chuy for being so attentive, personable and helpful. I'm very happy and proud to now call Dr. Chuy MY NEW DENTIST!
I had just moved to Orlando and was having problems with two teeth hurting. but not having a job and no insurance I need to pay cash and so I called around and found Florida Smiles and they set up the appointment right away and was vary reasonable on cost.
