Fairfax State Savings Bank has been located on Vanderbilt Street in Fairfax, Iowa, since it was chartered in 1924. In 90 plus years, there have been only two CEO's of Fairfax State Savings Bank, John L. Krall, and the current CEO, David C. Neuhaus.
The original building that housed the bank was built in 1900. A new building was built in 1964 and renovated in 1998. This modernization brought cutting edge technology to the customers of Fairfax State Savings Bank.
In an era of mergers and acquisitions, Fairfax State Savings Bank has been able to remain Fairfax State Savings Bank, while maintaining a stable financial environment. Our assets now exceed $140 million.
