This was a great stay I think. The service was awesome and they have bagel bites in the mini store. The bed was a little firm, but there were no bugs and the room was really clean. The only issue I have is the AC wall mount is a little tricky to figure out at first, but after I discovered the trick it became freezing in my room. I’d definitely stay here again! The location was actually pretty good for this stay. I was next to the highway easy to leave early and there are plenty of restaurants around. Also if you can’t find a spot in the Marriott parking lot just park in the back lot of the hotel next door. No one cares.
The upgradedated? that was carried out wasn't done professionally. ie, the trim was glued on and has come loose, the tv has half of a mirror behind it and 1/2 showing above it, chipped furniture , etc. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast was good. For the price it's an okay place to stay.Rooms: 4/5
Bad experience!!! False advertisement! No hot tub!!! The pool was freezing cold and it closed early!!! If I'm going to pay extra for amenities I expect them to be available to me!!!!Rooms: 3/5

Avoid this property at all costs! Filthy with the most sketch clientele and staff. Thousands of hotel nights and this property is hands down THE WORST! Staff rude too. Concerning activities at this property. Marriott should investigate and be worried about their trademark associated with this property.
If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!!! First of all…. the walls must be as thin as the outdated wallpaper that rests on them. We had the tv on, in A PAID for ROOM at 9:40pm playing music at a volume of only 10khz and the neighbors were already banging on the wall!!! 10 minutes later a security guard with his chest puffed out showed up knocking on the door. My best friend answered the door and was told to turn the music down as complaints were coming in, Soo he did. 5 minutes after puff the magic security guard left. The hotel room phone began to ring. So I decided to answer it and janelle from the front desk was calling to also mention that multiple complaints came in about the music that was ONLY at a volume of 10. So I told janelle that the music was already lowered, asking her if she HERSELF could hear it??? as she was on the phone with me. She said “ no.” And then repeated that there was multiple complaints. So I kindly informed janelle at the front desk that the security had also already been here 5 minutes BEFORE she called. she said “okay thanks” and hung up in my ear. My friend had been staying in that room for 8 days with NO Complaints. Meanwhile he had listened to and endeared himself without Complaining…. couples arguing and also people having sex right next to his room. But I Don’t think he banged on the wall or sent security to those rooms!!! But hey….. who knows???? Anyways if you want a room to get jiggy wit it. Don’t go to the “Fairfield by Marriott in Medford NY.” Everyone can hear exactly what you are doing Maybe they should have used better sheet rock when building these rooms…, … horrible little 3 floor wannabe overpriced luxury hotel… save your money and go next door to the comfort inn. It’s thicker walls and less complaints….
I'll be fair this hotel is clean breakfast was so so but one thing I did not like .they have an indoor pool .making it open at 12 noon is unfair most open pools at 9am .they do this so you cannot use pool on day of check out which is unfair to anyone wanting a 30min swim for exercise. That is done on purpose check out 11am pool open 12 noon its obvious.
I book foe my parents in this hotel they had the worst experience ever first of all the bed was so uncomfortble then the guy who was there forget to take my card for security deposit they lock my parent out off the room for 30 min and then they give the room for another lady while my parents are out side the room waiting for someone to let them inside the room,after all that i complain to the manger and they charge my card for extra money they the worst to deal with they theif watch out from them
Rooms are clean and well equipped; staff is very friendly. On a previous stay, there was a lot of air freshener deployed, which has us worried, but things were much better this time. Bed was comfortable, if maybe a little too soft. Pool is small, but whirlpool was roomy and nice after a long day driving. Water pressure on the tub was good, but the shower not as much presumably because of a flow restrictor on the showerhead. Maybe a 20 minute drive from the SBU campus.
There was a roach crawling by the headboard. We called downstairs to report it. The clerk said they sometimes have a ‘wood roach’ and could move us to a room on the 3rd floor which is reserved for Gold Members. If it weren’t 1 am I would have found another hotel. Obviously they have a roach problem because he never came to the room to identify the type of roach and his answer was too rehearsed. I asked for the manager’s contact info emailed her immediately. I asked again for a manager at the desk the next day and 3 days later and no one has gotten back to me. I will be contacting the health department. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel and had to encounter roaches. Worst stay ever!!!!! Also furniture was old and outdated and rooms were musty and stale!!!
