This 21-acre lakefront park features a beach with a gradual slope and sandy bottom. Summer programs and rentals include kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.
Lifeguards on duty and concessions stand open 9:30 am to 8 pm Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, weather permitting.
Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park serves as sanctuaries to both wildlife and people. Please help keep our parks clean to protect and preserve our natural resources and wildlife.
• Smoking is prohibited on the sand and boardwalk.
• No alcohol is permitted.
• Please put your litter in containers provided.
• Please do not bring glass containers to the beach.
• Fires must be contained within grills provided.
• Please keep amplified music at a reasonable level.
• Supervise your children, both in the water and on land.
• Swim only in the designated swim area.
• For your safety, flotation devices are not permitted in the swim area.
• Lifejackets are available at the concession stand free of charge during beach operating hours, weather permitting.
• Dogs must be on a leash and are allowed only on the paved parking lot and in the designated dog swim area.
• Clean up pet waste immediately and properly.
The historic Fairport Harbor Lighthouse and Marine Museum next to the park is available for tours. Call 440-354-4825 to arrange a lighthouse visit.
