We stayed here for two nights and didn't have any issues. The dog park is nice and it was nice to be able to get the dog off the leash. The long term campers are friendly, showers are clean, and the convenience store is nice. Staff is friendly. However, the highway it is located on is fairly noisy throughout the night.
A dated place but a very nice park. Great bathrooms and showers. Wonderful views of Pikes Peak beyond the meadow. Many pull through spots that gives a bit of disorganized look but I ended up liking that- not just cramming in as many spots as possible right next to each other. I hope I can return!
Nice owners, good view of mountains. Full hook ups. Not a bad campground. Watch out for the fuel pump overhang on entrance to park, looks like it’s been hit a few times.
The location suited us since we were visiting relatives on that side of Colorado Springs, and the price per day was fair. The facilities were adequate, not great, but the driveways in and out were quite rough. They need to have the bumps and ruts smoothed out, especially since all their quests have RVs.
Close to the highway so it was noisy with traffic. There was a small junkyard on property. The best thing was a road behind the park where I could walk each day. Dog-friendliness: They did have a large fenced dog run, however guests didn't pick up after their pooches
The owners were very nice and helped with direction to bypass Denver. The store was nice and had a good selection of items. As far as the park itself was ,well not what I expected for $47 a night. Someone changed my rating to 5 stars, I gave it 2-3 stars. DON'T CHANGE REVIEWS.Service: 4/5
I love how nice and clean the campground, big spaces for each camper with 2 cute big relaxing yellow chairs and they provide picnic table too. They have a mini campground store, laundry room, trash, mini gas station, propane refill and they have really friendly staffs. They do military discount it’s a big plus for us. Water pressure is amazing, full hookup and on our site we can see the mountains and huge open ground it’s not a campground property tho but it’s better than seeing facilities covering nature We will definitely come back here when they have a spot opening price is reasonable too unlike other campgrounds tht overcharge and charges electricity
Updated 2022 review: The park has gone downhill with many long term or permanent residents that have clutter stored all around their trailers. A lot of storage containers, kids toys, and junk around the spaces. We will probably not stay here again. Review from 2021: The park was quiet and the owners were very nice. The only big negative was the number of mosquitoes! They swarmed around us every evening making it very uncomfortable to be outside. If some mosquito abatement could be done it would help tremendously.
I was looking for a place to park my tiny house and I am new to Colorado. I just called and spoke with Dee. I will truly say that I have never been talked to more rudely that I was from her. I will never refer anyone to this place!!!
Nice, helpful people, gas prices are high everywhere but store was clean, employees were courteous and very helpful and got a nice greeting from the cashier who stopped what she was doing and came and rang me up as soon as I walked up to the counter and then followed me out to help me get the propane I was there to purchase. I have no complaints. Nice little spot.
