Dr. Ritz is a very good dentist. I have dealt with anxiety coming to the dentist for a very long time, but it’s gotten so much better since seeing him! He is really good at fillings and has made me feel more confident about my smile. The dental hygienists are wonderful and have shown me how to better take care of my teeth. I have seen an improvement in the health of my teeth since coming here. They are very honest about what dental work needs to be done and will walk you through what they’re doing step by step. Dr. Ritz did such a wonderful job filling in two of my front teeth, my local orthodontist couldn’t even tell where the filling ended and my tooth began.
If you're looking for a pleasant dentist experience, I recommend this place! Anna did my cleaning and shared tons of in-depth tips from jaw relaxation techniques to thorough brushing instruction that I'm surprised wasn't shared with me at any dentist appointment this far in my life. She was so patient with my questions and concerns and just a very relatable and kind provider. Then I saw Dr. Ritz and was equally impressed with his patience, kindness, and overall personableness. I was extra impressed that he didn't tell me I needed my wisdom teeth out, as another dentist had recommended it years ago even though I have no pain and was told they would be extra difficult to remove. Instead, Dr. Ritz asked if I had any pain and when I said no he told me how to keep them clean and said "yeah they wouldn't be the easiest to take out and we like to hit that easy button for you whenever we can." It was so refreshing to see specialists who demonstrate expertise AND compassion. Happy to have found a new dental center!
I am so happy I recently switched dental practices. Family Dental Center & Dr. Ritz are truly fabulous. I wish I switched years ago. Dr. Ritz takes his time, explains all the processes clearly and thoroughly. Dr. Ritz and his team made me feel comfortable when I was worried about a dental issue. Dr. Ritz is a great dentist and a great guy. He’s not going to try and take all your money he’s just going to do his best to fix your teeth. He’s always completely transparent about what he sees and what he thinks the best course of action is. Best dental experience I’ve ever had. He’s a pro.

Family Dental Center is a consummately professional place, everybody is polite, nice, helpful and efficient. Dr Ritz is fantastic, I actually enjoy my visits to the office because he is so much fun, gives excellent diagnosis and treatment. I just got a shot for a filling but did not feel any pain! If you are looking for a dentist you should come to Dr. Ritz!

They canceled my cleaning back in June which I had booked months in advance and told me they would rebook my appt within a week to a few months, but couldn't tell me when exactly lol. Its now August and they never got back to me. Then they did the exact same thing to my husband a few days ago. I am now switching dentists because of this.
Superlatives just don't do justice to Doctor Ritz and the staff at Family Dental Center. Doctor Ritz has excellent skills in communication and in dentistry. He explains everything thoroughly, giving you all of the options and all of the information that you need to make an informed decision about your care and is genuinely interested in making sure that you not only understand everything but take part actively in the appointment and leave with no questions unanswered. I had the wonderful opportunity to treat with his father years ago but had to leave the practice because my insurance no longer covered going there. When my insurance changed again and I had the opportunity to go back to treat with his son who took over for him I really wasn't sure what to expect, but I soon learned that he is continuing his father's legacy of compassionate, thorough and conscientious care of his patients. This is truly a remarkable office and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my dental care.
The staff at Family Dental are very friendly and courteous. Dr Ritz is the best he got me in with no problem for an emergency visit. I've been seeing him for years and highly recommend him. He takes his time and explains everything before he does any Dental work. Family Dental the best !!
