THIS IS AN EXTRA REVIEW DUE TO JUAT HOW DISPLEASING MY LAST VISIT WAS DUE TO THE ATTENDANTS
I’m usually not the type to leave any reviews, but this is the exception. I stopped by to buy champagne glasses for a NYE charity event. I ask an employee, “Bernardo” to be exact, if they happen to have any in the back in stock as the 2 on the shelves were broken. He responds “if you want you can go back there and look through the 200 boxes we have in there.” To this I j just respond “it was a yes/no question.” I was so in shock as to his response as I come here often and have never experienced anything like it. I just walked away after and left everything else in the shopping cart. People with no customer service skills should not be working with people!!
Love this place, a general store that has been here for years and.never closed, recent renovation of the store shows the commitment to this community, check out service can be long sometimes but has improved drastically, one employee seems to always have an attitude about any little thing, otherwise all others are pleasant
Was not a great experience at all. The lines are long with only one cashier sometimes two, but if management needs to be called they ring a little bell and management never comes. The customers have to go out and track down the management while other customers stand online in patiently waiting , and sometimes getting nasty with other customers. Speaking from experience I had to get off the line today to look for a manager who was sitting at a computer with one of his friends laughing like they were playing on the computer and looked annoyed when I came over to ask him the question I needed to know about something I was purchasing. So far up until now spring valley Family Dollar has been my worst experience. I live local and can tell you I very rarely have a good experience at the store. To be honest wish they would get rid of it altogether and put in a Dollar tree with a whole new set of people working there, including managers. This place is the pits.
It's great place and it's super cheap and I love it. Family Dollar has all kinds of of cool stuff that is unique like a variety of toys, snacks, drinks, house products and supplies plus more. The store usually updates and the service is a bit slow but very good
Nice place too shop, nice cashiers, I shop here once, or twice if not more, every few weeks. The only thing is they need more shopping carts.
It was a mess before the remodel and it is still a mess after. I only go in there to pick up the odd item. Potato chips, candy, cookies, etc. Store staff is pleasant enough, not much interaction except to check out! To me, the store is cluttered with unnecessary items. Alot of it is in the 1 to 5 dollar range, but it just makes it look crowded. And yes, I get that is why it's called family dollar! They could do a better job of making the store look more inviting.
