Dr. A was incredible, often times you are left in the dark regarding the thought processes and decisions made by the vet. But as he treated my dog and as he explained his thinking, it almost felt like he was thinking out loud. Giving me possible reasons for my dogs ailment and levels of approaches in regard to how aggressive we wanted to tackle the problem as well as reasons for the approach. Overall I highly recommend this location and I will continue to come back. Thanks South Coast Hospital!

I took my bunny here yesterday to see Dr. Aramburu because I could not get him in with his usual vet. We had a great experience and the Dr. did not rush through at all and had a lot of bunny knowledge. I got the sense all of the staff truly cares about animals and feel confident taking my pets back. It is good to know we have a good bunny vet close by.
I discovered this place I'm June when I found newborn kittens. The vet is very nice, he knows how to act around them.i wish I could have discovered this place sooner.i like the roominess of the facility as well. The staff has a really compassionate way of treating. I should have taken my bunny here first. I used to take my cat and dog far away to be seen to save money. This is just as good cause they give out packages of vaccinations for babies. Again I love these people.
An awful experience. There was a mix-up between the office and the doctor about my cat's weight. The office reported 3.2 POUNDS while the doctor's notes reported 3.2 kg approximately 7 pounds. Consequently, my cat was overdosed and nearly died. Also, I asked for one x-ray of his paw and they took 11 x-rays of his whole body and upped the bill approximately $300 additional. They said the radiologist would call me within 24 hours with the results, but they only called me 5 days later at 9 p.m.! after I prompted them to do so and had asked for my money back. And it wasn't the radiologist who called, it was the office manager! When I physically went there to talk with the doctor who was not calling me back, I saw an office tech put a dog in a plastic collar into the back of an open air truck and watched the owner drive away, putting the animal in great danger. When I asked another of their techs if this illegal practice was common policy, she said, 'Sir, I don't know what our policies are here. We just kinda learn as we go." Stay away. Go anywhere but here. My beloved cat, Pilgrim, eventually died four months after his last visit here, due in part to the overdose they administered. Find someone good with training. This place ain't it!
We love this place we been coming here for 3 years now and I feel safe and comfortable with them
I booked an appointment with this Pet hospital yesterday, happy that my dog issues can be addressed, after getting to the place the nurse started asking questions which where irrelevant with our issue and taking temperature which is not necessary, I mentioned that the indoor is so damp and hot and please turn the AC as my dog was scratching the door to go outside the tiny room, the nurse left us instead and came back telling us that there has been a double booking and the VET CANNOT SEE MY DOG!! Imagine being trapped in that humid and hot room and after that much time, they ignored service! I wish to pursue this legally, but anyway DO NOT EXPECT CUSTOMER CARE FROM THEM EXPECT UNPROFESSIONAL CARE , so happy for my dog to not see this place again.
Don’t waste your time! Rude staff, money-grabbing and don’t schedule appointments for the correct day after confirming twice on the phone. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Had a great experience with the Staff and Dr Aramburu. My kitten was a nervous but they took the time to understand and reassure her she was safe and loved. We will definitely be back with our other cats.
