I like it here. The videos do take a while to get out, and they are pretty expensive, but it's worth it. Just because it's a movie rental place, it's already at a higher standard.
This is a great place with helpful staff. Good selection and resale items are priced right. The only negatives here are a convoluted price structure on rentals and the lack of a kiosk station to let you know which section a new release will be found in if it's not a new release. You can tell that this is the last bastion of physical media rental though as everything is starting to look very dated.
Brings you back to when you actually had to go outside to get you're entertainment. So many movies & games to choose from. You can even get pizza without leaving the store. There's a window to the pizza place next door. How cool is that. You can even order a delivery pizza and they will return your movie for you. My son just moved into town and the owner gave him a tour of the place and explained how things work. It's a must see if you're visiting and better than Netflix if you live there.
Idk , who ever the guy is working has horrible customer service! I rented a movie twice and it did not play at all. The fist time I ask him to credit my account well that never happened! Rented it again same thing and talking to me like I am stupid and do what a blue ray player is? I told him I have 3 of them and it still did not work. I am not happy at all how I was treated!
Every single time we get a movie here, it skips. Even the brand new ones. It's ridiculous. And there's always one woman there who is completely rude to me and my boyfriend. A sour attitude every time we're there. We stopped going. Would rather pay more for Redbox because the movies actually work and you don't have to deal with bitchy employees. Would give no stars if I could.
We have had consistent great service with a personal touch one of the staff posed with my fiancé in a goofy pic for a Family Video social media contest. This is our main source for entertainment outside of dinner and drinks and we’re happy that we can rely on the staff to make our experiences pleasurable.
Always find great used movies at really fair prices. Just got a bunch of digital codes 2 for 1.50$ and baught a stack of relatively new blu rays 2 for 5$
The game selection is somewhat limited compared to other Family Videos I have visited, but it's a pretty okay store. It has access to a Marcos Pizza, and if you rent a movie, watch it at home, then order delivery, the delivery driver will take it back for you!
Family Video offers totally free DVD rentals for childrens movies, a good selection of current movies, plus inexpensive older movies that you won't necessarily find on an online streaming source. Also a good selection of video games are available for those who want to try different games with spending the money to buy a lot of games. This location is partnered with Marcos pizza so you can have your DVDs delivered or returned by ordering food from Marcos, so that is a convenience you won't find from Redbox.
Other Family Videos I've gone to have been pretty notorious for having movies that skip. That has not been my experience here which is very nice.
