I highly recommend Famous Shoe Repair if you need sole protectors for your high-end shoes. I recently purchased a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, and I wanted to ensure the trademark red bottom soles were not damaged. The owners are highly skilled and customer-centric. Just a quick heads up, however, they only accept cash payments.

Unprofessional. Hammered bent nail head into the heel. A nail tip protruded out from the side of the heel ruining the heel. Heel caps were just slapped on. Messy glue no buffing, no trim work. This was my first and last visit. Sad.

So sweet and so quick! All at a good price. The heels caps broke on my Louboutins, I figured the fix would be expensive given the shoes... nope! Less than $15! Just be aware it’s cash only, but PLEASE give this place your business, they are so beyond great.

I came to get a pair of shoes fixed with a new heel. The women behind the counter said we are not taking any shoes now——what——aren’t you a shoe repair business??? Will not get my business ever!

Excellent work. I had sent shoes in to Cole Haan before for their renew/rejuvenation service. Shoes were supposed to come back like new. They didn't. And, despite being sent directly to the manufacturer, it was clear the replacement parts sole, heel, insole were inferior to the original. Even the shine was really poorly done, and uneven. 6 months later light, occasional use, I was looking for a cobbler again. Went here, and the shoes came back excellent. I didn't ask for expedited service, so my shoes took about 2 weeks. Well worth the wait though. Also, they use really solid materials. Better than original Cole Haan. Also, they beat CH's price by quite a bit. But my shoes didn't come back in a fancy CH velvet bag...

I needed a heel tap on my shoe- I was only in town for a couple of days and only brought the one pair of shoes so I googled shoe repair in Metairie and found this wonderful place just a few blocks from where I'm staying. They close at 5 and it was 4:45. The sweetheart Angels fixed my shoes on the spot. They were so pleasant and the the price was great- $12 - I highly recommend this shop!!
