Discovered this place a couple years ago while looking for a place that sold mead. It turns out this is just a 5-10 min drive from my place, perfect. The lady working provided outstanding service; explained the different types of mead available and helped us figure out what we were looking for just the normal stuff, called merry mead here They have different size bottles too smaller sizes which is perfect for gifts or if you just want several kinds to try out at home lol. The poets passion was also amazing. Aside from the mead, their honey is also just the best. Honestly just everything about this place is just amazing! Highly recommend to anyone!
Smells really nice and sweet in the shop. Wine wasn't bad and had some unique flavor profiles. Horrible service is the reason for the low stars. Felt like I was a criminal rather than a customer.
Lucky to have a place like this in the neighbourhood — bought a nice little bottle of mead wine and spotted some products I’ll be coming back for. Looking forward to the Open Hive tour… Vivian was was a joy to chat with in your store today and so knowledgeable about all of the wines and wellness products.

My fiancé and recently took an interest in mead and found this cute little spot outside of town. The lady that helped us was very kind and knowledgeable. Thank you so much! They offer mead tasting for $7 March 2023. Great if you’re like us and have never tried. They carry many types of mead, honey, beeswax products. Would recommend!

Not your typical mom and pop farmer’s market honey store. They have all the bees wax candles, bee themed trinkets, but this place also does mead tastings. Book a appointment, much like you’d do at a winery, and go in expecting very delicious tastings. Mead can be sweet, dry, flavoured and very strong. Plan to buy a bottle or two, and I recommend buying smaller bottles but more varieties. Outside you can walk the field where they have grape vines and bee hives. As long as you don’t walk aggressively suddenly, and with large movements then the bees from the hives will leave you alone - but this might be hard for little ones to follow. Otherwise, it’s a nice walk around the grapes while you wait for a mead tasting.

Such a fantastic place! The mead is absolutely delicious! Place has a warm family feel to it and they are very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. I completely recommend and definitely will be back!
Excellent place to come too for all different types of honey product's. The people are so nice n friendly
