Excellent hotel with an excellent location for snow ski and a true mineral spa experience complete package, extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. Cuisine catered for all cultures! Extremely tasty with fresh produce from the facilities sustainable program. a BIG shout out to George Terziev! He is a walking symbol of hospitality.
Rooms were spacious, well equipped, warm, with big terrace. The beds were very comfortable, bathroom was clean enough. The cleaning ladies were very polite, the staff at the restaurant looked overworked. There is a 7% service fee in the restaurant applied to anyone ordering beverages in the restaurant. We ordered a few, which were not bad, but not great either. Food was not too shabby, although there was a limited choice of meatless meals. At least there was a salad bar. Desserts were superb, definitely try them out! Restaurant was quite full and noisy, I recommend sitting in one of the smaller adjacent areas, not in the main area during dinner time. Sitting near the window panels revealed a magnificent mountain view and strong draft. The SPA was clean, and all features were working. However, the name of the Spa rooms were hard to read, and it was a bit confusing as to which is which. The outdoor pool was great , it was about 37C, and it's connected with the indoor pool. The hotel is family friendly, there was a kid's corner near the lobby bar. There's also a playground near the outdoor pool Nearby activities: A few interesting things to see around the village - Roman bath, Turkish bath
Overall the hotel and services are good. The food is local and very delicious. The spa centre is very good with big hot pool having mountain view outside. Upon entering the room there was cigarettes smell. The couch is not comfortable to sleep on but the hotel provided additional bed for the second night. The majority of staff in the restaurant were new and waiting for service and drinks was 30 min but still very polite and kind.
Very well furnished relatively big rooms with a nice view to the mountains, with a big bathroom. Excellent SPA center with three sauna, ice room and contrast showers, big relax area, very good swimming pool with mineral water. Tasty food with great choice in the restaurant of the hotel - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Polite service. I definitely recommend it
A very nice SPA hotel. The pools are amazing and the water is nice and warm, I would say even hot at the kid's pool. The food tasted wonderful as well, overall a great value for the money we spent there. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting this hotel again.
Best hotel so far even across other 5 star hotels I have visited. Everyone is great from reception to people who clean. Food is amazing. Spa is large, clean and has a warm pool outside with an amazing view. Alpin studio was large.Rooms: 5/5
Just a perfect place for relax. We booked house with three sleeping rooms and everything was amazing. The food, the spa, the services. It was super clean. In the bed we had even two different pillows so you can choose the best for you.
Lovely spa facilities, great food, professional massages, pleasant staff. We will be back! Few suggestions for the hotel- - Mattresses and pillow can be better - Will be good to have jacuzzi facilities in addition to the amazing sauna room and pools - Would avoid chemical air fresheners in dining area. Thank you for an amazing stay
Noisy kindergarten circus! If you wish for a relaxing getaway, this is not the hotel to visit, because it is a family hotel and this means there are LOTS of kids of all ages there. Go somewhere else for peace of mind. The kids run around everywhere in the hotel: in the restaurant around the tables they chase each other and scream and shout. In the bar lounge the same: they run around and scream. One cannot have a normal bar lounge experience. The kids are also screaming and playing with balls in the spa area. The only place where it is a normal hotel experience is either in the spa pool outside during winter time when the kids are mostly inside or in one's hotel room. Most of the parents don't control their children's chaos and allow them to make lots of noise and disturbance. When complaining to the bar keeper, he said that there is nothing he can do and the parents should be the ones to do something. I complaint at the receptionist too and the person said that he'll do something, but after a while of continuous noise, we went back to the hotel room for peace and quiet. The restaurant's food offering has decreased in both quality and quantity since our previous visit in March 2022. They also offer no free water to drink so one has to order for paid drinks. Every breakfast buffet is exactly the same and after six days' stay, this makes the breakfast experience dull. Our hotel room's carpet had large stains on two places. We paid 400 leva per night and such poor conditions as mentioned above, especially the noisy chaotic kids, are unacceptable. The wifi Internet speed in the room was 1Mb/s and sometimes even as low as 600Kb/s. see the photos This means that it was impossible to stream a film as it was too slow. One had to use one's own cellular connection with a WiFi Hotspot to stream films or wait until midnight when the kids and other people are asleep and not using the Internet and then the speed was at 2.5Mb/s. The New Year's Eve entertainment was a not that well planned. The restaurant opened their doors at 8pm and we received dessert at 23h30. During dinner time, the entertainers were too loud with their talking and also the music. A few guests took breaks between the meals and relaxed in the bar lounge for less noise and only returned when the next course of meal was served. The bar lounge is also way too small for such a large hotel. There are simply not enough seating for people in the lounge. Generally speaking, this hotel has a lot of potential and if it could bring back the quality from the past, it would be worth a visit. The way it is currently, especially with the myriad of noisy kids and expensive price for lack of food quality and quantity, there are surely better options somewhere else. One thing that stood out as a positive is the hotel gym. It has all the equipment one could wish for in a hotel gym. See the photos. As there is nothing else to do around the hotel, one either uses the gym, be in the bar lounge when kids are having a meal or are sleeping, be in the outside spa pool during winter or be in one's hotel room.
Great place to stay for a week or more. We had a 7 day holiday in here, exceptional hotel, great service and amenities. The pools are just amazing, also the spa is exceptional! The food even if not varied, is tasty and delicious. Also the breakfast is very good. There is an underground garage free of charge which is very nice when outside is snowing or raining. Rooms are big and spatious. We had water, fruits and chocolate on arrival and EACH day!!! Clean, warm and with good room service. The staff are helpful and nice BUT if there is something missing, is the happy face on the kitchen's staff which seem to be angry almost all the time, except from some maybe the hotel manager should give them once in a while access to the spa to relax:. The WiFi works well in the rooms and general areas. There is a shuttle bus which takes you to bansko slopes works like a Swiss watch. The pools make all the money! Already thinking on our next year visit.
