The Archives are extensive, covering all aspects of Fayette County's history. The museum has a broad collection of books on the County and on Texas, as well as rotating exhibitions which are very interesting and varied. The archivists are very knowledgeable, and helpful. They go out of their way to ask about their visitors and what brought them to the Archives, and offer suggestions of artifacts to view from the collection that relate to the visitors' interests. The gift shop is also .
The two women upstairs in the Fayette County Public Library really know what they're talking about they're very helpful and nice as well.
