The Feeder Canal Alliance was created in 1987 to save and preserve the seven-mile Feeder Canal, the last remaining original canal in New York State and an integral part of the state’s 524 miles of canals, for future generations. This now-recognized National Historic Place creates recreational opportunities for visitors and locals alike while providing a glimpse into the past.
