Needed a commercial high recovery hot water heater. Called on Thursday afternoon and they delivered it Friday morning to our second floor. In stock and fast delivery….that’s everything I look for in a supplier. We needed a commercial high recovery hot water heater for another building. Called Friday morning at 11:00 and they delivered it at 1:30 in the afternoon. True professionals, excellent service and team members at every level.
We needed a replacement hose assembly for our Kohler sink. Ferguson's website said they had one in stock at the Addison location. I purchased it on line and was given a confirmation email saying I could pick up the part that day after 2:30 pm. When I got to the store, the person atthe counter informed me that they sold the part to someone else who walked in right before me. What?! I purchased that part on line for pick up in store and I had a confirmation email. I was not happy. "Ooops" they said "Sometimes this happens. We end up selling a part that someone else bought on line." They said they could have the part brought from another location and I could pick it up in a few days. They said they'd call me when it was ready. Not surprisingly, they never called. I tried calling the Addison store multiple times. They never answered the phone. I ended up having to cancel my order. The customer service here is abysmal and if you buy something on line for pick up in store, it's very possible the part will end up being sold to someone else. I'd give them zero stars if I could.
I should give them an zero star rating due to a employee by the name of Chuck. CHUCK Is rude, disrespectful human being who should not be held any position or job at ferguson . Everytime I'm in the store, he is very unprofessional towards customers and employees. I saw him harassing using terrible verbal language towards customers and employees. He is abusing his power of authority. He needs to be fired. He says this is his warehouse and runs it any way that he wants. To the customer who is not satisfied
If it weren't for Gabriella Galati, I probably wouldn't be leaving this review!!! OUTSTANDING employee is an understatement.... I had a few problems with my order and after my own futile attempts, and much wasted time, I felt like I was "out of luck" so to speak, until she answered the phone!!! After explaining my problems, she stopped what she was doing, helped me out right then and there.....solved my problems within minutes!!! She was patient, pleasant and very considerate, as if we had been working on a purchase together for a while. As a consumer, when you buy something, no matter where, if there is a problem or you need help, that's when you decide where and with whom you will shop with in the future.....knowing you're in good hands. It's how you're treated that sticks with you, you can buy appliances, etc. almost anywhere, but its "customer service" that sets it apart and she truly deserves an award. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I would give Ferguson Zero stars if it was an option! Yesterday a part on my water heater went out. After several phone calls to various companies, Ferguson assured me that they had the part I needed. Although Ferguson was an hour away from me, I needed hot water. I could have ordered it online in the morning for a guaranteed delv of Monday but since they had it in stock I decided to make the 2hr commitment to get my part! Once I arrived, I was quickly told by service he didn't think they had the part! He left me sitting there for just short of an hour looking for this part. Low and behold, no PART!!! When I asked how this could happen he said the call in service center operates on a different system and they saw 10 parts in stock. His system said 10 parts were in stock but in a location that doesn't exist in his building so he knew immediately before physically looking for it that it likely was NOT there! If the call center had this visibility, I would have known up front or had someone look for it before making a 2 HR commitment out of my day to go down there! Needless to say I was very upset by this since I left work early midday, spent money for gas, and burned 3 hrs out of my day only to leave without my part and then to be left to order it online later in the day which I could have done to begin with! Before I left I gave them the opportunity to make it right for the customer. I asked him if he could ship it to me from the mfg which he said he could. He asked if I wanted it sent next day and I said, Sure, but I'm not paying the freight to have this sent to me, correct? He blank faced looked at me and said "yes, you have to pay the freight even if it's sent ground you will be charged the freight" I was astonished by this matter of fact response. There was never an apology nor any level of customer service or satisfaction granted to me. I was professional, calm cool and collective even though he knew I was upset by their mistake and what it cost me in time and gas. He showed no remorse or offered any way to make it right! That is what is appalling that in this time of fierce competition, a company can still operate like this! I am writing about my experience in the hopes that other readers know about their horrible operating systems and the mistakes it is making for all of their customers each and everyday! It's shameful a business can operate with two separate systems which doesn't offer up integrity of the data which they need to give customers accurate information over the phone before wasting peoples time due to their inefficiencies and inaccuracies! Shameful just shameful!
I have spent the last 4 months replacing my whirlpool tub and faucets. All items were purchased from Ferguson. During the original order process and follow up needs I worked with Jeff Ashford sales person. Jeff was very knowledgeable and responsive to all of my original and follow up needs. I mistakenly hired an incompetent plumber who abandoned the job before it was finished, had it not been for Jeff I think I would have gone crazy. He was absolutely awesome in helping me get needed parts. Please thank him and provide some recognition for a job well done.
All the guys at the counter and inside sales are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The 24hr water heater delivery service is outstanding at this location in comparison to others that we’ve used and always on time!!! Rick and his team exceed our expectations when removing the old water heaters and placing the new one. They deserve a raise for the caliber or work they do.
Great service with extremely knowledgeable staff that go above and beyond to accommodate their customers. 5 star service here ask for Dan or Andrew and you'll be in great hands. Overall a great group of guys guys with fantastic products.
Ordered laundry sink strange but were out of stock wall mounted, 2 days later when I should pick it up they don’t know where is it. After 15 min. everyone acts like are busy, no one feels sorry... mouths full of water saying nothing and I feel like missed opportunity to tell them f...u. Costumer service- priceless.
It's really the focus on total customer satisfaction that sets the Ferguson Addison branch apart from other supply houses. On a recent trip to the Ferguson Addison branch I was given a fitting with a small crack in it, I can't exactly be upset at them since I missed it to. Anyways, I felt it uncouth to install the fitting even though it wouldn't have affected the functionality at all so, back to Ferguson I went. I was able to exchange the product in an expedient manner and get back to business. Well done Ferguson, well done!
