Part of my job at work is handling HR. FFVA is our WC insurance company. Awesome to work with when it comes to workman's comp claims ..safety issues.... and over all information from OSHA to just standard practical practices. Very easy online accessibility. You can file claims, make payments on your account, ask questions, Etc.
I can describe them as terrible, terrible and terrible working with injured people. They are very rude. They even hang the phone in multiple times when they're angry when I told them what they do not want to hear about the company I worked for. Stay away from them and look for help somewhere else. And I think those positive 5 star posting here are people who work for them and not really injured client like us. Somebody investigate those positive posting please
I've always been the person that doesn't like it when people hire an attorney for their workman's comp cases. But now I understand why not saying I'm going to do that but trying to get medical treatment through this company is so slow and they don't return your calls the caseworker always seems too busy. I have two torn tendons in my right shoulder and have been waiting to see an orthopedic surgeon. Oh well pray for me hopefully they'll call me soon and schedule me.
This company is TRASH! I recommend you RUN away as fast as possible. The deny more legitimate claims than cover them. Their adjusters are pure torture to deal with. Don’t bother with them, get an attorney. They are best described as adversarial, accusatory, and confrontational. I offer my most sincere condolences to any poor soul that has to deal with them. BUSINESS OWNERS: Do not use this company if you care at all about your employees.
My experience with FFVA mutual and Genex services has been nothing but torture. The doctors that have been assigned to me here in Orlando, FL. are nothing more than paid for "yes" men. They are so afraid of loosing out on that easy repeat referral money. They can't actually take a chance and go against the FFVA/Genex company and treat a person with multiple injuries including trauma to my brain. Cannot even get the Nurse Case Manager, Donna Buzella, to attend doctor appointments or return emails. It would cost to much money to fix me, so just have the doctors sweep my case under the rug. Got to save that dollar. That is the bottom line with your company. Right? We live in a time that medicine and knowledge of the human body has never been greater. And we learn more everyday. If we didn't have to struggle and fight with the people who stand in the way of letting real doctors do their job and treat a person. Instead, it is easier to buy a person with a sheet of paper on the wall that says "Doctor". The doctors that I had to see are angry, narcissistic and only in it for the money. They forgot what it means to be a doctor. I've had a fast food worker treat me with more respect and kindness than these doctors. I'm not looking for a payday. I just want to be fixed from an accident that happened. I sure didn't ask for all these problems. Don't forget that! Well I feel that I have been wronged on such a level that not only do I have a lawyer looking at this. But I must admit that I was surprised that the local news returned my email interested in my case and how it has been handled by FFVA/Genex. If all I get from this is to open peoples eyes to the fraud that is associated with your name. That would be good enough for me
Very bad service refused to cover workmans compensation for very obvious injury that occured during work duties. An emergency visit for much needed stiches. This insurance agency is. A fraud.
