Fields at Renaissance Park

If you visit, come early 7am and avoid on holidays and a few days after. It takes them a while to clean the mess people leave behind. There's a baseball and soccer field where kids host their games. There's also a playground and restroom.

This park is my favorite place to walk. Morning walks are some of my favorite because I get to see the sun bathing by the water fountain, or the as they munch on the , or even the fox dancing in the play ground. I do the early morning walks because there's no one there at that time. To the ground keepers. Thank you for always doing your best in keeping the Renaissance Park in Essex, MD clean. As a senior, my inner child sometimes comes out at times, and I will take a few minutes to swing, which is something I really love to do.

Went to a gender reveal on a very HOT Sunday. There was plenty of shade from the trees and pavilions everywhere. No trash, great play area for children,and they even had a snow cone truck. Adults paid but the children were free. The only problem, and it almost a deal breaker , is parking. Nowhere to park when events are in full swing. When you do find parking the walk is semi long especially if you are carrying a gift, a chair, a baby in a stroller, a diaper bag, and a bottle of water or a small cooler. In fact it’s near impossible to do that walk because you run out of pavement and walk across grass. If you are going my advice is don’t go it alone unless you are CrossFit powered

Great park with running/walking path, pavilions, playground, soccer field and baseball diamond. Lots of dog walkers and exercisers. No facilities or port a pots. Nice place for a stroll.

Little children have little bladders. I finally spotted a port a potty in the far back of the park, behind a long fence. The park is nice, and flat, but it needs more potty options!

I go to Renaissance Park just about everyday. I walk the entire park with my dog making sure to take time to sit on the benches as well. I see children playing and plenty of people walking their dogs. Now that it is spring time there's baseball too. It's a very nice park but there's two things that bother me is they don't empty the trash often enough and people don't clean up after there dogs. I clean up after mine but I see it every single day. It would be great if they installed trash bags in various places throughout the park and maybe signs about a hefty fine if they do NOT clean up but it has to be enforced! We need to keep this park clean as it's a very nice place and safe place to come. I gave it 4 stars due to the last two reasons.

Great park for family and church events.

Nice and clean and no hassle nice place to have get-togethers only issue was the weather but we don't control that but the nice high ceiling and electric kept that party going if your looking for a nice spot to host something "look no further fella you've found him" just be sure to clean up before you leave our last game of the night was left right center I think I was cheated but it was fun
