Products

Base Camp Golden Ale

The lightest of FiftyFifty's ales, Base Camp is a thirst quenching delight. Pale straw to light gold in color, this beer has a mild malt flavor combined with light bitterness and hop flavor.

Foggy Goggle Belgian White

FiftyFifty's "Wit" beer, Foggy Goggle is a Belgian Style Wheat Beer, cousin of the German Hefeweizen. An unfiltered beer, Foggy Goggle is brewed true to style, using a yeast strain that originated in Belgium, with just a hint of orange peel, lemon peel, and chamomile.

Manifesto Pale Ale

Manifesto is one of FiftyFifty's flagship beers. Manifesto has a restrained malt backbone of flavor with mild biscuit and caramel notes, and the hop character is light to moderate with mild earthiness evolving to a slightly more moderate citrus/piney finish.

Rockslide IPA

If being in one of the coldest places in the US isn't extreme enough, the contents of this beer may very well redefine your commitment to the pursuit of hops. Rockslide IPA is brewed in the 'West Coast' style with aggressive amounts of American hops such as Amarillo, Centennial and Summit hops.

Trifecta Belgian Style Tripel

This is one of FiftyFifty's seasonal ales, and is a high alcohol Belgian style beer. Brewed with inspiration from Belgian Trappist Ales, Trifecta also includes locally grown Purple Sage Honey.

Donner Party Porter

Sustenance to get you through those long, cold winters, the Donner Party Porter is another of FiftyFifty's flagship beers. Reminiscent of dark chocolate, espresso, and dark dried fruits with a long complex finish, this beer is good for one of those nights where you've dug yourself into a snow bank because the ski trip didn't go quite as planned.

Roundabout Oatmeal Stout

Another one of FiftyFifty's seasonals, the Roundabout Oatmeal Stout is brown to black in color and nearly opaque. It has a velvet like mouthfeel, moderate hints of dark dried fruit, espresso beans and Dark Chocolate... and just a hint of hop bitterness.

Went here for a friendly dinner gathering. Ordered the flank steakmedium rare, flavor was excellent but the steak was more on the tough side. Steak was served with mash potatoes and asparagus. Mashed potatoes were deliciously buttery, and the asparagus were roasted perfectly for tenderness in every bite. Service was decent, but could've been better. Overall this joint is a bit above average for a brewery style restaurant.
If you are in the area, this is a great spot to visit. Their beer selection is respectable, with a lot of options to choose from. Yes get the flight of beer. We ordered the pretzel, and it was a bit dry. The salad overall was ok, yet the tomatoes were really good. They also have the 2nd best BBQ chicken pizza I have ever tasted. A must try.
Cool spot! Wish we had more time to try their beers, but we were stuffed after dinner. The one beer we had which was a stout was really good. Food was yummy. I had a fresh chicken salad and although I ate for days, I felt like it never went away; portions were good. The hubby had Birria tacos with fries and both were delish. For dessert we shared a brownie with ice cream and whip cream. This was very decadent, and I would recommend sharing amongst a few. We were not able to finish. The atmosphere is very lively and fit for families, couples or even large groups. Baylee was our server, and she was friendly and very attentive. Would definitely come back again.
We stopped off at this spot on a Wednesday afternoon and were immediately seated by a very nice hostess. The wait staff was all very attentive, and we never had any issues if we need something. The facility itself was well appointed and clean. For the beer, I got their Hazy IPA and it was fine. Not the best I've had but certainly not bad either. I only got the 1 beer though. For the food, we got 4 items: The Cheese Curds - There were amazing, I want to go back just for them. Like really really good. The Pretzel w/ Beer Cheese - This was very good, the beer cheese had great flavor and the pretzel was well baked. The French Dip - This was where the issues come, it was like $16 and it just didn't have enough meet on it. It almost had more bread than it had meat : The Chicken Sandwich - It was well fried, but my wife thought it may have been a frozen chicken breast and didn't have great flavor. So the bottom line is that it's worth a stop, and I plan to hit it again, but I'm probably sticking the Curds/Pretzel.
We came here to celebrate Father’s Day. 50-50 was very accommodating, our party of 13 & 2 dogs, but the dogs ended up not coming. The staff was excellent. The food was well prepared and everyone enjoyed themselves. Although some of us were here already at a hotel one family came from Elk Grove. They have a good selection of beers, definitely worth trying.
Awesome apres ski spot in Truckee. Came here twice on a long weekend. Recommend the fish tacos and chicken wings. Great beer recommendations when sitting at the bar. Could skip the pulled pork sandwich but the side salad is large.
A dog cafe only a dog walk distance away from the Hampton if only I was able to bring my black cattle dog on the business trip from San Rafael I certainly enjoyed having a lot of beers to choose from. The Park Rat Porter was irresistibly delicious! The spinach artichoke dip was among the best. And, the Donner Party Burger was some great tasty fun.
We stop here for lunch every year on our way to visit family in Tahoe but this time it was disappointing as far as their service goes. Maybe it’s the norm for twenty something’s to provide lousy service, or it could be the lack of incentive to provide decent service when the restaurant automatically adds a 20% “service fee” to the bill. I wouldn’t have tipped her more than 10% for the service we received. The food was delicious and the beers are always on point. It would be proper to fill the glasses up closer to the rim as ours were about an inch from the top. Hopefully I just caught them on a bad day because I really enjoy this place as I’ve been coming here for the past 15 years.
Very good menu, excellent service, and delicious beers. We were able to satisfy a wide variety of tastes while taking care of the beer lovers in our group. Great atmosphere and worth a repeat visit
Great bar food and excellent brews. Garden pizza and Birria Tacos…some of the best Buffalo cauliflower I’ve had!
