Fillmore Veterinary Hospital is a full service animal hospital and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Cor VanderWel DVM, Alex Rahm DVM and Dr. Karen Ricketts are experienced in all types of conditions and treatments. Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and provide a very calm environment so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting his or her own Colorado Springs veterinarian.

I cannot say enough about this practice. Dr. Cor husband treating our families pets since I was a little girl and I have continued to take my pets to him as an adult. He has always been absolutely amazing with the animals themselves and the owner's alike. He is very welcoming, friendly, and you can definitely tell his priority is the well-being of your pet. He's always been very upfront about potential costs of procedures and best and worst case scenarios. Several years ago I met Dr. Alex and we love him just as much. He is absolutely amazing with our animals and most recently we had to take our dog in due to a leg injury. Despite examining her and what would normally cause a dog to retreat as soon as possible, she immediately went back over to him for loving and kisses. Because she remembered how good he has been to her. The front desk staff is also so accommodating and so friendly. Their customer service is outstanding and they always follow up to ensure your pet is doing well. I would never go anywhere else. They are all absolutely amazing.

My dogs have been coming here for years. All the vets at this office are amazing and very caring. I brought in my dog for an emergency appointment after he was attacked by a raccoon and Dr. Cor performed surgery on him over his lunch time. They don’t try to oversell anything and it’s been my experience that they do their best to respect your wallet.

We couldn’t be happier with the treatment we have received for our fur babies over the years, and the compassion Dr.Cor and his team have shown us. Our last visit was the one we all dread. I truly believe the treatment our girl had received was instrumental in giving us 16 plus years of unconditional love. I can’t express our gratitude for the reassurance that we were doing the right thing. God bless you and all the team at Fillmore Veterinarian Hospital.  Ms Riley we miss you so much!

Miss Lilly had Emergency Dental Surgery and is doing GREAT!!! Dr. Cor is always informative and Dr. Webb did her Surgery. He is as informative as Dr. Cor and I would trust in Fillmore Vet Clinic for my girls needs in the future. They truly care about the patient and the owner.

The entire staff is friendly and professional.   Dr. Cor is the best vet I have ever worked with.   He's compassionate and competent.   He doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures.   I trust him implicitly.

I will forever and always give this place a five star review if I could give them a million star review I would!!!!! They are verybcareing and truly care about your animals as much as you do!!! If not more!!! Dr. Alex is very knowledgeable and loves all of the reptiles that come in for his care!!! I am so thank for to have him as our vet for all of our babies!!! Thank you so much!!!!

We have been with Karen Ricketts DVM for many years. She has helped with keeping our pets healthy and she helped with saying goodbye to our pets. Everyone there is very friendly and kind to our pets.

Fillmore Vet Hosp is, IMO, the BEST place for my pet family's health. My beautiful 11 yo schnauzer had to be put down today. Although I know it was the most humane thing to do, my heart is broken. The only solice I take is in knowing Dr. Karen did all she could to help my sweet girl. She has kept my min pin alive. The care and genuine love Dr. Karen has for animals goes above and beyond anything I've encountered in the medical profession. Maybe yrs ago but rare, sadly, in today's day and age. I trust Fillmore Vet Hosp with my pet family's lives, literally! Thank you for your kindness, caring and professionalism always. God bless you all.

I'm a second generation with cats and dogs that visits Fillmore Vet. We absolutely adore Dr. Core. Petey here got his updated shots recently and a nail trim.... Our cats will get check ups soon as well!Pet lovers: Fillmore Vet is worth every penny to visit Dr. Core. Petey patiently wore the Santa hat! This is the most well kept and kindest staff I've ever encountered My adopted cat Noodles had to be euthanized today. I want to thank the entire staff for the respect and compassion they showed .He passed away so peacefully because he felt the love all around him! Forever Grateful-JCJONES
