FISH of McHenry Food Pantry was chartered and organized in 1973. It is an all volunteer service organization that strives to meet the supplemental emergency
needs of the disadvantaged in our community. Often it "fills the gap" while people
are waiting for public aid, food stamps, disability or unemployment compensation
to begin. It operates solely on donations of money and goods.
FISH is an International Interdenominational Service Organization founded
during World War II by clergy during the war in England.
