While much of this library is closed for massive renovation they get 5 stars for the INCREDIBLE makers section in the basement. If you want to craft or learn and lack equipment they have it and it is all public use. Pottery, painting, film editing, embroidery, wood burning, cricut, 3d printing, robotics, weaving, etc. The possibilities are endless. Its truly an amazing space and concept to allow people to create without limits.
I absolutely love that my children and I can spend Quality Time at the Library. There are numerous art kits and skill building kits for all ages. My late mother was excellent at knitting, sewing, and crocheting. When my 10 year old daughter chose to learn how to knit, it brought back memories of my late mother and it was a beautiful moment. I am grateful for the Library and how it's keeping my daughter and I close with activities we can do together.
This library is great. The people are friendly and the WiFi works seamlessly. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable about their library. They should be proud of themselves and the work that they do
Education. Entertainment. Solace. You'll find it all at the Fishers library. There's a good collection of literature. We ought to have more libraries like these around the country. Stop by to discover why.
Wonderful library with kits to borrow for kids to play at the library including Lego sets, circuit maker etc. Board games can be borrowed too. Good friendly staff. Friends of the library book sale at the front of the library. Seed library also is within the library.
Used to come to this library all of the time. Since they are banning/restricting access to books. I would suggest going to any other library that isn't one of their branches. They are just proving that every stereotype about Fishers is correct.
Unhelpful staff when it comes to looking for programs or where to go. Just assumes you know where to find things with their massive construction mess.
Great library in general, but construction right now has limited some of the services. Look forward to coming back when it is all done.
Used to rate it 5 stars but now with the library board banning books from the children's area and causing tax payers at least 300K for this idiotic project I can no longer rate it highly. It's such a shame that they choose to act so foolishly.
New updates look good! Makerspace is fun and had lots of options with good staff.
