I absolutely love this gym! It's the only gym I've actually have felt comfortable at while working out. I've been to many of the other locations and even competitors' gyms and none compare! There's so much equipment that I'm pretty sure you could work out your entire body here solely on the machines. The employees here are super friendly, knowledgeable and keep the place spotless! In fact, my first day here an employee approached me and taught me an alternative way to work out my core on one of their machines. From then on I've felt comfortable approaching them for help when I'm not sure what to do! Definitely recommend a membership and that you make this HT Fitness your favorite workout spot!
Have been coming here about 3 months now. Lost over 25lbs so far. From the day I came in the staff has been extremely nice and helpful. Any questions I have they always have an answer or a suggestion. They know your name when you walk in and remember your conversations. this isn't a must but it's nice to know you aren't a dollar sign on their docket only. The gym never smells like sweat or BO. Everyone is always cleaning something. They have ample equipment for whatever your needs are. The bathrooms are always clean. And the other gym goers are nice as well. Haven't had anyone ever be rude. Nice community. Great for keeping up that body or starting to get healthy. They have options for everyone even if you have kids they have child care during the day.
HT Fitness is the best gym I've ever had the pleasure of joining! It was important to me that they were open 24 hrs. I really like going very early before most are waking up. I always felt very safe both inside and outside. The building and the equipment were very well kept and clean. I highly recommend this gym!
I’ve been a member here for about six months. I always feel very welcome and am totally comfortable working out alongside anyone there. They have an excellent selection of free weights and machines, and the trainer I’ve been working with is great. There’s plenty of space to move around, people are friendly but stay in their own zones, and it’s super clean. The pricing is reasonable, and I especially appreciate not being locked into a contract. Highly recommend.
I have enjoyed being a part of the HT family! This gym is very inclusive and offers and friendly work-out environment. This gym also is great at communicating with their members and implementing new classes for everyone to partake in. The staff takes time to get to know each person’s name and they often acknowledge my child as well. Mrs. Aubrey in the child care room is amazing!
Home Town Fitness is by far the best gym in the area and is what I consider to be the only "real" gym especially when compared to PF. They have all the equipment you could need and it's all fairly new and in great condition. What makes the place really shine is how clean it is. I've never been to a gym that takes cleanliness as seriously as HT Fitness. Without HT Fitness, I'd have to either make the long trek to Austin or stick with calisthenics. The membership rate is reasonable and it's definitely worth joining. It's cheaper than Gold's plus you get pretty much the same amenities, all right within Bastrop. You just can't beat that.
I don’t leave reviews often but this gym deserves one. Always welcomed with a smile and the staff remembers peoples names. The equipment is clean and every time I’m there there’s staff cleaning doing upkeep. Having childcare was the main reason I switched from planet fitness but I soon realized all the benefits of using a locally owned gym. The locker rooms are really nice and there’s things like hair dryers, straighteners, lotion, feminine products all available for use. The water at the fountain Is filtered unlike planet fitness. I personally don’t want to be working on my health and fill up my bottle with chlorinated tap water at the gym so I love this detail they provide. My only criticism would be that I wish the childcare hours were a bit different and that they would have an infrared sauna for use. But I think this is the guest gym in Bastrop for its price hands down.
Staff goes beyond and above to make sure you have a great experience and are always so friendly, and on top of that they constantly make sure to make the gym is clean and organized. I frequent the la grange location since it is closer to my home but work in bastrop and it’s my daily go to of all the locations and one of my favorite!! 10/10 y’all are doing a great job!
Myself and husband have been coming here for almost a year and love it! Has everything you need and is always very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. I always feel very comfortable and at home here, they have a great big room where they hold classes or if you would like to use it for stretching out, kettle swings, weighted workout routines, push ups etc. Just an all around great gym!
