Read your contract thoroughly. They will lock you into a two year contract, and you will not be able to get out. Be aware of what you are signing. In addition to the contract debacle, the gym is falling apart. Most of the equipment is rusting, missing pieces, out of order, and generally in poor condition. You are better off paying a bit more a month for a nicer gym, and one that doesn’t run its business in such a manipulative way.
Have been a member since the time World Gym shut down. This has been a good switch so far. They do have a sauna.
Friendly staff, good location, and cheap for lifting. I don't personally do classes or use childcare which does cost more...like an extra $10/mo. for classes. For $10/mo. it's a great place to workout. Usually the same group of people in there during the time of day I go. Some of the dumbbells could use some repair...but hey, they're weights, they don't have to be pretty. This is one the cleanest gyms I've been in. The staff is always cleaning and making repairs. Trainers are friendly and you can they know what they're talking about. I always see them with clients and they always seem happy. As with most gyms there's an annual maintenance fee which there's is around $43 which comes out once a year. Never had anything lost or stolen and I look forward to going each day. If you're concerned about the contract, just be sure to ask questions, actually read the fine print and be clear about what you want to sign up for. I've had no problems and been there 2 years. Most gyms have a contract and they all use the same billing company, ABC which can be a pain to deal with, but the staff there does have the ability to deal with ABC directly so just be nice if you have an issue. I love this gym. It has friendly people who work here and people who regularly go here are also supportive and positive. Great location and for a great price. Jennifer is a great fitness instructor for the "No Mercy" class and Bryan is honest and straight forward and will give you the best deal on a gym membership.
Decided to go and check this club out because of it's proximity to my regular hotel. I didn't have many expectations coming in, but I'll tell you what! These guys are doing it right! Front desk service was extremely friendly and personable, and were quick to help me with any questions. I had an appointment setup with Brandon, one of the Fit Pros at the club, and I would be more than confident in recommending him to anyone. Great service, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and able to adapt to the needs of his customer. Daniel, the GM, also came over during my visit to check in and see if there was anything he could do to help more. This, ladies and gents, is how you provide great customer service. Not pushy, no hidden fees, great amenities, awesome machinery and space. Love it!
Absolutely DO NOT get a gym membership here. I read all of the reviews and saw that several people had issues with ending their memberships and getting scammed by this place but felt confident after talking to this gym and getting their cancellation policy in writing that this was a problem of the past. I filled out all necessary cancellation forms months in advance before moving out of the state and have been told several times that I am good to go and my memebership is cancelled but this gym continues to withdrawal money from my account every month. I have reached out to the owner twice now and gotten no response. The general manager is rude and refuses to help or answer questions. I am beyond upset and frustrated at this gym. It is so sad they choose to make their money by scamming and ripping people off. I now have to cancel my bank account and open a new one up in an attempt to keep all of my money from being drained from my account. Please save yourself the time, money and frustration and absolutely do not use this gym. I can’t stress this enough.
I love working out at this gym. I've been here for over a year and couldn't be happier. The staff and management are always very friendly and helpful. They keep the place very clean and are always there to help if you need anything. The childcare is an awesome addition as well so you don't have to worry about finding a babysitter.
I've been going to F4less for about a year. Overall my experience has been great. Although a few pieces of equipment could use some work, I've always been able to come in an get a workout. The staff are always working to keep the place clean, which is a huge plus! They are also very friendly and approachable. I always like talking with Lisa for a minute when I come in. She's friendly and has a great attitude. Once, I was overcharged on my monthly due. A simple computer error I told Lisa about it and she immediately took down my information and said she would inform the manager and the owner. She told me that the owner would have to personally call whoever pulled the money each and have them reimburse. It was $20. I figured that money was gone. But 2 weeks later there was a credit back on my account. Good customer service in my book. Thank you Lisa for handling the situation and thank you Dewayne for calling and having the money put back on my account.
I've been coming to Fitness4Less for several months now. I was nervous to try because of the bad reviews but have been overall happy with my experience. The equipment is not always taken care of promptly and the gym gets really hot in the summer but the childcare is wonderful. Lisa and Brian are two awesome employees here that treat everyone right and make it feel like home. It wouldn't be the same without them.
I love the gym itself, the hours and the pricing but staff is unprofessional in my opinion. I am never greeted- They make it awkward. What frustrates me most is when my contract ended they did not reach out instead continue to charge my account. Just some advice F4L When your clients contracts are going to end you should professionally reach out and let them know, find out if there is anything you can do to help their goals and keep them signed up with you not just continue to charge their account even though the contract is ended.
