I have an updated review on Storage Rentals of America. I had a call from Dan who is the regional manager who did his best to make my problem with the company right. I very much appreciated the quick call back and based on our conversation would use and recommend them. He was kind enough to give me his local number rather than the 800 number to solve issues quickly
I appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would like to work with them I future too. I used 15*10 storage. Price is good and units are clean.
It is a clean, well secured space with plenty of surveillance and great prices! The staff here is absolutely amazing as well, very polite, attentive and keeps a great look out on everything. They drive around the storage area making sure everything is secure and clean first thing in the morning and multiple times a day. I'll never go anywhere else in lansing for storage! Thank you for all your hard work!
Great To Do Business With, Would Recommend This Storage Facility To Anyone that needs Storage!
Cannot gain access to unit for over a few weeks due to system not working and they are projecting over a month to be repaired. Ok so i am a day late get charged a late fee. The hours they say they are there does not work with my schudule. Thats why i choose a 24 hr storage. I asked for a discount since i am unable to occupy or gain access to site. When i signed contract i was assured 24 access now they tell me they have the right to change the hours of access anytime. The person to whom i spoke to on 07 21 21 was rude and told me just pay the bill and would not give corp number or address and also said after paying bill that i could remove all things stored there now. What i paid the next month billing with no discount or access to my property according to their advertising. How am i suppose to move my things if i cannot gain access. WORST CUSTOMERS SERVICE EVER!!!## I WILL BE CONTACTING AN ATTORNEY TO SEE IF I HAVE ANY RIGHTS. THEY DECEITFUL BUSINESS!!!!!
More like " 1-Star Store it!" Terrible customer service. They advertise 24-hour access but there is nobody on site when their access gate malfunctions and you cannot gain access. I came with a moving truck from 90 miles away expecting to vacate the unit that I had been renting for 15 months only to find that the gate was broken and no one was there. I called "customer service" and was told that there is no one in the area that could open the gate, that I would have to come back the next day and they would "try" to get someone over there to fix it. I was not able to return until for two weeks and was charged another billing cycle. I've tried calling and emailing several times and no one responds to my requests. Don't rent their units unless you want you belongings to be held hostage from their incompetence
How convenient it is to rent a unit using an automated kiosk... NOT!! Rented a space here after office hours on a Saturday and my gate code would not work. Nobody to call or contact, a 14 foot Uhaul loaded and nowhere to unload. Cost me an additional $100 to get a storage unit elsewhere. Advise - rent ONLY when a REAL PERSON is there so you are GUARANTEED access to your storage unit. Not sure how to reply to owner so I’ll just edit. It took 6 years to reply? Really? Were you the owner then? From the looks of other reviews, as recent as two weeks ago - not much has changed. I would suggest maybe instead of asking for a second chance you take a good look at yourself and how you operate your “business”.
Raised the prices significantly while providing no additional amenities such as trash or protections. Prices for nearby storage place with same offerings are lower than here.
this is the second or third time where No one could get 24 hr access like they additive. but they want. to chargee for 24 access. this is a not right. I pay for 24 hr . every day should be pro rated for no access.
I just rented a unit at the kiosk during work hrs but "on site mgr" nowhere to b seen. Sign on door says b right back. Can't access unit as access code does not work. Been waiting for an hr for site person to show up. Car is here but NO one here. They even have the nerve to post new hrs....lol. really? Now wat? Loaded n no where to go........
