Very easy for a family of different abilities. We went with a group of 15 and we all had fun. Trails are easy to walk with incredible views of Boulder and the valley below. It can be a long adventure or a short. Bathrooms all around. Drive was beautiful up the mountain.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
We only went up mountain to the first parking area. Beautiful scenic view of Boulder and surrounding area for many miles. Also, great view of Flatiron formations to south. The area is well maintained. We were there in first week of March, in between snow events, so the road up was accessible to all vehicles. If snow is present, I understand some vehicles are limited. The access road begins at a great open space hiking area.
Amazing spots at every turn, we watched the sun set on our first night in town. Highly recommend!!!Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
This place is amazing. The view is always jaw dropping. Make it to the top, oneside has an amazing view of the city of Boulder and beyond, wonder the other way and enjoy a fantastic view into the rockies. Everytime I come to Boulder it's the first thing I do.
One of the best views of the Boulder from the top, especially at night. We love to go to this place.
This is a great hiking area that has a multitude of beautiful lookout spots. Only a few minutes from Boulder, it’s a quick and convenient getaway. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching a sunset here is a great experience. I highly recommend coming to Flagstaff Mountain and trying out the various hiking trails available. You can also have a picnic! They even have wheelchair trails!
It was worth the ride. Absolutely beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Luckily we had reception on our phones and could video call folks to show them the beauty. Don't forget to carry a water bottle.
If you've been hanging around in Boulder for any length of time you've probably heard of something called flagstaff. Some company, or organization, or even some real estate parcel, the name Flagstaff is everywhere around here. This is the Flagstaff that is mentioned and referenced with all those other names. So if you want to do Boulder right you kind of need to come here immediately. Even if you've only got an extra half hour for lunch, drive up and have your lunch in the parking lot with one of the most amazing views that you'll get anywhere. I can't imagine what early folks must have thought when they came upon this view. Truly a place to do some deep thinking if you're so inclined.
If I lived in Boulder I would be up here every weekend. Such an easy convenient drive directly into awesome views and great trails.
Worth the crazy drive views were so breathtaking my heart is still speeding hours after being there
