ATTN: FLAVOR IS NOW OUT OF BUSINESS. Portions are huge!! We were so stuffed we took our desserts to go. The sliders are the best I have ever tasted. Great chicken pot pie. My mom had enough pasta left over to have for lunch the following day. Service was wonderful. Reservations are a good idea. $29 per person gets you a choice of 2 appetizers, 1 main entree, and desert. I can't remember if it includes a drink.

Pretty good food and some portions are enormous! Their clam chowder is definitely worth trying. I also had their chicken pot pie that can feed at least two and it was so yummy and flavorful! Service was also great. I had a trainee who served my table but he was definitely professional and very attentive

Immediately one of our flavorite restaurants! We sometimes crave flavor and drive down from San Francisco for a great meal. Right when you walk in the front desk had a basket of free salt water taffy samples from the store around the corner. The atmosphere is adorable and comfortable, perfect for absolutely any occasion. They have wonderful nightly specials, but the Garlic / Herb Chicken is AMAZING! The mashed potatoes are yum, the potato salad is yum, the chicken is bomb. Yes, the portions are large, but that makes it perfect to share or have for left overs! The lunch and dinner menus are different, so if you come before 4pm I recommend the chicken and waffles which are superb!

Our second time at Flavor and we were not disappointed! We started off with the crostini and mac n' cheese with crab - mouth watering! We had the salmon special, skirt steak, pork chop, and braised beef short ribs - all cooked to perfection with wonderful sides and large portions. For dessert we split the princess cake and cheesecake - heavenly. Our server, Ryan, was great and Francisco, one of the owners, is incredible! Highly recommended to all!

We were in Half Moon Bay for my sister in-law's wedding and the brunch the day after was held at Flavor. Visually the restaurant itself was clean and stylish. The staff did a great job at being attentive and being on top of orders and refills. A coffee, mimosa, and Spiced Chilaquiles later I was more than full. My wife had the one of the benedicts and I know a few had waffles as well, no one had a complaint and Flavor clearly delivered on the flavors as our taste buds were all quite happy and bellies full. While I can only comment on the brunch menu, it's one that you should be able to find something enjoyable on!

Can't say enough positive things about this place - especially the staff and the delicious food. We had a big party and 2 dogs with us. After being basically pushed to cancel our reservation an hour before arrival from the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, I searched for other dog-friendly restaurants in the area and thank goodness I called Flavor Restaurant. They confirmed they were pet friendly and did everything they could to try and accommodate us once we arrived. It was cold and rainy that day so they brought out umbrellas and lit the fireplaces in the patio area. We had a large group and basically ordered almost everything off the menu. The food was DELICIOUS and again, our experience was a lot better because of their amazing staff. I highly highly recommend this restaurant - don't need to check anywhere else in Half Moon Bay.

Flavor is an incredible place to take your family there is fantastic drinks, food and service. The waiter was very attentive and very kind. There is a upstairs and downstairs so there is plenty of seating for a large family. The restaurant is right next to the ocean so there is a great view.

Will now judge every meal at a restaurant to the one we just experienced at Favor. Following the reviews to locate dinner for our family vacation. 4 exquisite meals were had by a family that contains some pretty picky eaters. The macaroni & cheese is hearty & delicious. The Burgers were juicy and on point. Battered & fried halibut was crunchy & moist. The house made ketchup & tartar sauce opened my children's eyes to a realm outside of bottled ketchup. Pricey dinner - but totally worth it!

Our server was very nice and genuine and straightforward, we came from a long hike and the portions left us very well stuffed. They aren't kidding when they say comfort food, very rich. Great big windows all around also

On a trip to San Francisco for Dreamforce and rented a home just north of Half Moon Cay so Flavor was a nice restaurant just down the way. Chicken pot pie was enormous! Could've used some more s&p. Short ribs were tasty as were the Brussel sprouts. Service was fantastic. We'd definitely go back when in the area.
