Flour Girl Wedding Cakes

We had Flour Girl cater our vow renewal at the Nevada Beach Pavilion, and it was a huge hit! Everything was beautiful, delicious, and it was so easy to work with Sarah. She took the time to answer all of our questions, gave stellar advice, and was so nice! We had lots of compliments on EVERYTHING - from the presentation to the variety and taste. THANK YOU again for adding such a sweet touch to our day!

Holy cow, what can I say other than AMAZING! We had a specific vision for the vintage cake of our dreams, and flour girl delivered!! The cake literally left us speechless, and not to mention, it was DELICIOUS 10/10 recommend. Thanks for being a part of our big day!

We recently had Sarah create the wedding cake and desserts for my daughters wedding. We booked our date about a year out. The dessert tasting with Sarah’s mom was so much fun. So many choices and helpful with ideas. Sarah was easy to work with and communication was great. And on the day of the wedding .. fabulous and delicious.. the cake was beautiful.

We hired Flour Girl in October of 2019 for what was then going to be our Summer 2020 wedding. Sarah was so gracious and easy to work with, even with all the shifts thanks to COVID. We finally had our re-scheduled wedding this past June and we were so happy we hired Flour Girl! We did a small shared cake and a dessert bar and it was was exactly what we wanted! The cake had so much personality and was absolutely delicious the earl grey and caramel flavor is highly recommended. The dessert bar was also a huge hit with all our guests and turned out perfectly! The setup was beautiful and the desserts were so good, we got to take home less than we thought thanks to the popularity with our guests!

Flour Girl Wedding Cakes took care of the desserts for our wedding and they were a breeze to work with. They had a bunch of different flavor/dessert options covering a wide range of prices. Everything they made looked beautiful and tasted great. Our guests gave rave reviews - especially for the carrot cake!

Flour girl wedding cakes made the most amazing, beautiful and tasty cake for our wedding! Our guests loved it so much they enjoyed a slice of each of our three flavors! We went to Flour Girl's beautiful shop in South Lake Tahoe 8 months before our event. We were greeted with friendly faces and the amazing smell of baked goods. The small consultation room is so sweet and pretty and we were very impressed with their professionalism and thorough understanding of what we were looking for. They brought an amazing array of samples and we were blown away by how good everything tasted and it was fun to put together different flavor combinations of cake with frosting. Their pricing is good for the cake they offer and their communication throughout the months was great. They offered rental of accessories stand and sign with the cake, we ended up not doing that as the items had to be returned to their shop within a few days of the event. On our wedding day, the cake was delivered just as scheduled and placed beautifully on the table we had prepared. The cake was perfectly frosted and absolutely beautiful and just what we imagined. The florist left a pile of greens and roses to place on the cake and Flour Girl decorated the cake with them beautifully. They were in and out without any hiccup. The cake on wedding night was AMAZING - it was the moistest wedding cake I've ever had and the frosting was stellar - the perfect flavor and texture. Everyone LOVED it and we ate a 50 person cake with 33 people! I HIGHLY recommend flour girl for all your dessert needs, thanks for taking such good care of us!

We are so happy we decided to go with Flour Girl Weddings for our wedding cake and desserts! Everything was absolutely delicious and Sara and her team were really communicative, flexible and easy to work with from start to finish! The cake red velvet with chocolate ganache and cream cheese icing on top and funfetti with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream on the bottom was absolutely fabulous! We also did a dessert bar with pie pops !!!, lemon bars, creme brulee, and mini cupcakes. Our guests raved about them!

I was so impressed with Flour Girl! I'm a big fan of desserts but I'm also vegan so it can be a struggle trying to find a place that is accommodating. Right away Flour Girl was able to meet my needs and I couldn't be more grateful! It was such a fun experience to meet with the staff before the big day in order to try all kinds of different combinations of cakes, frosting, and fillings. We ordered a small, round, vegan cake for me and my husband to share while our guests had a large selection of cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and more to choose from. We also took advantage of renting their platters and decor items which was a huge help. It was also a plus that it went so well with our outdoor theme. Thank you Flour Girl!!

Flour Girl was so easy to work with for our wedding at the West Shore Cafe. Sarah is great at communicating and we could not have been happier with our experience. Our cake was delicious and beautiful- it was exactly what we dreamed of. We went with bite size desserts for our wedding guests which were displayed on rustic/modern trays that we rented from Flour Girl. Renting the displays was so easy and our guests raved about the desserts. Thank you so much to Sarah and her team at Flour Girl!

Sarah made us golf themed cupcakes for the rehearsal dinner and a three tiered cake for the wedding that was so good we barely got any! Beware if you are taking pictures when the cake is served you may miss out. However, we know that cake was so good, we ordered it again for our anniversary and loved every bite!
