We are SO glad we went with Lake Tahoe Cakes for our wedding dessert bar! All around exceptional. My now-husband did not want to spend money on desserts, but after a bit of convincing he relinquished, and he said it was the best ever. We had such a fun time mixing and matching the different flavors. We went with cupcakes, brownie bites, lemon bar bites, macarons, and chocolate sandwich cookies. The desserts were not only beautiful but also so delicious. There was basically nothing left after our wedding! Everyone loved them. We thought everything was very reasonably priced for how delicious and gourmet everything was. They are also very professional. They responded to my questions very quickly, were early on the wedding day, and set up the desserts beautifully. They even had an assortment of dessert stands that we could use. We went with the rustic wood rounds that perfectly matched our outdoors venue. So so glad we used Lake Tahoe Cakes for our wedding!
Our wedding desserts were not only beautiful, but delicious and the team was very easy to work with. Lisa was happy to accommodate all changes and design requests that we asked for. Planning our wedding from across the country, it was really nice having vendors that were responsive, trustworthy and happy to answer questions. Our lemon swirl cake, cupcakes and lemon bars were SO DELICIOUS. We would highly recommend Lake Tahoe Cakes!
We used Lake Tahoe Cakes for our wedding back in October. We had a tasting where we fell in love with all the different flavors and combinations. They had such a cute tasting room and really made the experience special. We had Lake Tahoe Cakes create a raspberry and champagne cake as well as a dessert bar and cookies as our wedding gift. Everything were delicious and absolutely beautiful. They were extremely communicative and thorough. I sent them pictures and ideas and they executed my dreams perfectly. We absolutely loved working with Allison for our September 2022 wedding. Her cakes are beautiful but more importantly are so so good. We did a three tier with different flavors and fillings and it was so hard to only stick to three!
We went with a dessert bar for our October 2021 wedding, and while the arrangements looked amazing, they tasted even better! We got tons of compliments from our guests. We are so happy with the service received, the team at Lake Tahoe Cakes were so easy to work with despite changes made along the way. Their service and quality exceeded our expectations, I highly recommend them for your next event!
Lake Tahoe cakes made the best cutting cake and donuts for our wedding. The cake was so so good, I could have ate the whole thing. we cannot wait to cut back into it on our 1st anniversary. The tasting experience was incredible in the shop with so many choices and flavor combinations to pick from. The donuts were classy looking and a huge hit at the reception. Communication was amazing leading up to the day as well. I will definitely order more cakes and desserts through them in the future.
Allison is so sweet! We are so happy she did the dessert for our wedding. Everything from the tasting to the wedding went smoothly. She goes above and beyond! We were looking for someone to make custom donuts and do a small cake to cut. Allison bakes the freshest fried and cake donuts. Her flavors are incredible and speak to her creativity and talent. We ended up getting a cake for the bridal suite in a pink champagne flavor. It tasted amazing and was so beautifully decorated! Zephyr Lodge can be a challenge for vendors and Allison made it seem like a breeze. She even caught some great photos of us on the chairlift! The donuts were a big hit! The dessert was a decor focal point of our wedding and she made us and our guests very happy! We highly recommend Allison for all your bakery needs!
I ordered a birthday cake for my wife. They were very professional and very helpful. They opened specifically for us on Mother's day and I was able to pick up the cake on time. Now the cake itself was very delicious. My wife and the guests loved the cake too. Thanks once again to the owner and their team for making this memorable and eventful for us.
got some cupcakes for birthday, the lemon poppyseed was really good and the chocolate one was a bit too sweet. love the flower deco!
Lake Tahoe cakes is FANTASTIC. I cannot recommend them enough. They were extremely responsive, professional, and helpful. We didn’t have a tasting beforehand for our wedding cake, but we knew it would be perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful, and tasted even better than we could have imagined. My brother, who never eats/likes desserts, had a full slice of cake and raved about it. The cake was reasonably priced and could not have been more perfect. Highly recommend!!
