After spending a day riding the motorcycle over the mountains and across the desert I was hoping for an old school truck stop with a driver's lounge and sit-down restaurant. Sadly they are disappearing. This updated version of a truck stop was still a welcome sight. I tried the pizza and wings from their PJ Fresh food kiosk. The wings were about like you'd expect. Breaded, frozen, heated up, and sitting under a heat lamp. The pizza... meh. There was a Wendy's there too, but I wasn't in the mood that day. After I ate I noticed the display full of fresh sandwiches, salads, and fruits. I guess I had walked right by them, but I wish I had seen them sooner. I would have picked my meal from there for sure. There were plenty of drinks to choose from, a row or two of trucker's necessities, a few rows of snacks and other convenience store items. Restrooms were roomy enough and clean.
Great area, fairly new and flat parking good, No trash cans in sight, anywhere around parking??? Restrooms no paper towels available 6:30 am??? Great place with poor management and lazy employees!!!!
This is definitely good place to stop before or after hectic grades and LA area. Travel center renovated recently, clean & tidy. Large parking space and easy in / out.
This flying j should be modeled for all pilot / flying j truck stops. Huge paved lot, pretty well lit, clean, hot showers with great pressure, friendly staff, clean island's with washer fluid & squeegees. No trash laying around. If all truck stops were similar, truckin would be that much better! Thank u for a nice truck stop! Keep up the great work!!
Perfect place to rest from long distance driving. Plenty of restrooms and you can shower here as well!!! Gas stations and a huge parking lot are available. Fast food and so many items are available to buy to continue your long journey
Place is new with lots of parking but they do not keep their showers rolling. They prioritize other tasks over cleaning showers. Waiting over 45 minutes for a shower while there are currently 5 that need to be cleaned. Unacceptable.
The Good... We arrived to her over the speaker, “Curtsey check on the bathroom, please.” When we walked into the bathroom a couple of minutes later they were being cleaned, yeah. Lots of food and drink choices. The bad... You pay for the convenance. The blue tooth head phones I payed to much for wouldn’t pair with my phone.
You can't get coffee or hot/cold drinks from 5pm till 5am.Coffee after 5am is served by worker of FJ.Due to covid-19????!!!!????. But the customer can touch other products on the shelves or open doors of freezers to buy cold drinks. NEXT BRILLIANT IDEA... 2 of 4 sinks in the restroom are closed due to Covid-19 . Very nice incentive for people not to wash their hands in rush hours ,too many drivers in the line BTW ...there are people who don't use toilet paper just fingers and water from bottlePerfect way to spread hepatitis c or parasitic disease... Brainless management.!!!!!!!!!
Everything is good except shower rooms. I shut down here every other day but when I reservation shower in the morning 4~5 am, still waiting 4~5 guys…
This place disappoints every time, too bad I have to stop here sometimes. This flying j in particular is really dirty, undermanned and they never have soups.
