Hubby says this was one of the best Flying J's he has been to. Said it was a little hard finding a spot to park, with bobtailers taking up full spots, but still at 5:45pm he was happy to get a spot. Inside the store was clean, the staff was polite & courteous, and the food - really surprised him. He wasn't going to tempt fate since he has food in the truck, but he was just wanting something different. He got a meatloaf dinner with green beans & mash potatoes and gravy from the hot box ready-made area. He couldn't stop raving about how good the meal was. Meatloaf was juicy w/a sweet tomato sauce, the green beans were cooked just right & had a garlic butter sauce that was really tasty, and the mash potatoes were creamy w/a brown gravy that was as good as he makes at home that is saying something, he is a prior cook & owned his own restaurant back in Australia. He is marking this stop on his map for his next time through the area!
First all crazy spot. Bobtails should DOUBLE UP. Lots of Bob tails taking up full length parking spots. MAJOR PROBLEMS EVERY STORE. Ya'll don't want parking here nor there. Well, how about doing something about the problem. This CORPORATE CHAIN HAS NO RESPECT. Try talking with the employee not their problem. Excuse me? YOUR JOB IS YOUR PROBLEM.
1 star is too much for this location. Pay at pump requires you to see cashier. Bathrooms were dirty with no paper towels. Clerk did apologize, however.
RV dump station here is very convenient. RV parking spaces as well as gas pump access, water fill, tire air, paper towel dispensers & long handle window wash brush/soap. In-store restrooms were very clean and well stocked. Stop has all the necessary conveniences & travel needs. Great supply of drinks, meals & snacks! The employee was very pleasant and helpful!
I’m a patient customer, I’m not entitled and a rarely complain and just accept things. I did that today as well, however I don’t blame my fellow customers for getting angry while a line of 15 customers built up at one register while the 3 employees moved slowly and engaged in small talk. They even snapped at one gentleman who suggested that they open a second register. Otherwise average experience.
Clean restrooms, very nice. Showers are always clean. They got plenty of food to choose from. Denny's inside. Parking is a little tight in some spots. Reserved parking limits the free parking spots. The later you get here the harder it is to find a spot.
HEIDI, THE GUEST SERVICE CHAMPION, IS REALLY UNHELPFUL! SHE REFUSED TO GIVE ME 4 QUARTERS IN EXCHANGE FOR ONE DOLLAR. THEIR LAUNDRY MACHINES DO NOT ACCEPT CARDS. SHE KNOWS THE ISSUE WITH MACHINES. SHE HAD FULL REGISTER OF QUARTERS AND HOLD THEM FOR HERSELF EXCLUSIVELY. I WISH SHE UNDERSTOOD OUR CONCERN INDEED. WELL, THERE IS NO COMMON SENSE. UNFORTUNATELY ! IF I WERE HER BOSS, I WOULD ASK HER TO APOLOGIZE TO THE CUSTOMER AND BE WILLING TO EXCHANGE THE DOLLAR BILL FOR THE QUARTERS FOR THEY ARE THE TRUE CUSTOMERS INDEED. THEY ARE THE ONLY REASON SHE HOLDS HER JOB. THANKS FOR THE POOR SERVICE.
Plenty of RV spots, but too bad the truckers took most of them and it was only 1500. We snagged the last spot, but there was plenty of room in the truck area for these guys. If you don't want RV's to use the trucker spots, don't take ours.. Good store and restaurant.
I parked at this truck stop and after having a good night of sleep without bothering no body. I woke up to do a pre trip inspection than I found someone tear my brand new tire intentionally.
RV friendly! RV fueling lanes and a dump station wish we had known about that beforehand. Signage could be better for RVs - it was clear where trucks and cars needed to go, but not RVs. The cashier greeted us when we walked in the door which was very nice.
