I just had the worst experience with Sophia Woodson here. This was my 2nd interaction with her and the first wasn't much better. I am going to Foley Elder Health as a 35 yo because of multiple TBIs. Last week I was in a front-end collision car wreck and Dr Appleby wanted me to be seen in person for a neuro workup. So I was scheduled with Ms. Woodson today. I don't wear a mask because it greatly increases my migraines which I have discussed with my PC and they have agreed that is best for me. So when I got to the office I out on the a face shield when I had to check in. But then took it off when I sat down across the empty room. I was told to out it back on so I went outside in the hall and my mom moved a chair out there so I could rest as my head was hurting so bad. I came back in and had to stand for temperature etc. Before we could go back to the room where the MA said I could then take off the mask. She then asked me to put it back on while she took my blood pressure. So I did. Then took it back off. However, I was hassled by 3 different people about wearing the mask or Sophia Woodson wouldn't see me. She then came to the door to discuss it with me. Asked why I didn't have a note from my doctor. I am being seen at Foley Elder Health for memory problems I said I didn't ask them for one not thinking about it. She said if I didn't "want" to wear a mask then I should be going to my PCP. I have metal plates in my head, was in a car crash and am pretty sure my PCP is not qualified to do a neuro workup. I then told her that I would try to wear the mask and she slammed the door. Why would she do that when I said I would put on the mask? The MA came back and I told her I wasn't sure I wanted to be seen by Ms. Woodson anymore because I want to be seen by someone who wants to treat me and help me and it doesn't seem like she does. I did say a couple curse words to the MA which I feel terrible about. I was in so much pain and I just hated the idea of putting on the mask and being in more pain than I already was, then on top of that Sophia Woodson slammed the door. Getting angry let out some epinephrine and for a few moments I actually felt better. Sophia Woodson then refused to treat me and wrote in her notes that I can now see some lies about what happened during my time there. I just started working for the first time in 4 years and this accident may mean I'm not ready for that and/or may be putting that job in jeopardy. I needed this neuro-workup to help me figure out how to move forward. I certainly did not have my mom drive me an hour there to ruin the chance at that.

I’d give them a zero if I could. Unresponsive, dismissive, unprofessional, irresponsible… They don’t respond to pharmacy faxes, patient messages sent from their online patient portal “myUhcare”. There is nothing I can say that is complimentary about our experience with this organization.
