Our Seymour Grocery Stores are Amazing, Friendly Staff.. I just wish more in person cashiers were available. I love a good quick chat and smiling faces with other community members at check out!
Great customer service, even when I was looking for an unusual item. The store is always clean and tidy. The parking lot share a few spaces with small shops but there is plenty of parking.
Excellent chicken wings! They’re a great little place to eat. My Dad eats here all the time. I finally tried them myself and was not disappointed at all. They also have a lunch buffet with pizza and salad on request. Nice place to eat.
The worst service ever. I placed a curbside pickup order last night at 8:30pm to be ready for pickup at 9am this morning. I received a confirmation text. I never received notification that the order was ready for pickup so I drove over to the store and arrived a little after 9. It took 7 calls to get someone to answer the phone, only to find out that they didn't have anyone in Curbside this morning and my order hadn't even been started to be filled. I have been ill, hence the order to be picked up. I ended up having to go in the store and get the items I needed. This is piss poor management. If someone didn't show up for work, then a manager should have had someone else to cover. If they didn't schedule anyone, then they don't know how to manage, and the company needs to know this. I will never use this service again. I guess this is the result of spending $20 million dollars to put Food City's name on Thompson Bowling Arena. Your company has some of the highest prices on groceries in the area. I should have known better than to even try and place an order. It will be the last time I ever shop with Food City.
I am getting to like it more than the other major grocery store. Their support team is always visible when you need to find specific item. Also I like their check out system were the cashier handles the unloading the cart one item at a time while scanning it.
The manager, Richard, was the kindest and most helpful person this evening. He went above and beyond to blow balloons up for my son’s birthday even when faced with several mishaps! He was persistent and remained positive to ensure he met the costumer’s needs. Thank you for your patience and being so awesome!!
This store was very nice and clean. It actually had more than one cashier working. There is plenty of stock. All-round great experience.
The staff is kind, but the manager not sure of his name that has black shaggy looking hair and beard was extremely rude to the point I didn’t get anything and will not be back. I went to get WIC and the cut fruit clearly had a “Wic” tag underneath it and I even told this manager that and he rudely interrupted me each time I tried to speak at checkout then finally I got a word in to tell him it is marked with the Wic tag and he said very rudely that that is my problem not his and that I wasn’t allowed to get my fruit with Wic even though the cashier said plainly that someone got cut fruit with Wic earlier that day. So I told the shaggy looking manager guy that he needs to take those Wic tags down if people can’t use Wic with it and he said rudely again not his problem. Y’all can pull the video surveillance and watch exactly how I just explained it. Food city lost a customer
Tonight 6/25/23 617pm Seymour Tn branch. Employee Logan bushy hair skinny non caring look and atttitude worked the line checking food. He literally would not talk when spoken to and a cake came thru with no tag from your bakery. Instead of waiting or directing me in any nice way he closed me out while guy when to get cake price. Then when I asked snapped at me and never told me where to go. He was rude, uncaring and a poor representation of food city. I have shopping loyally for so long I can’t tell you but I’m sure you can look up my account and because of this one man alone I would never return to your store. Ever. Not for free anything. Nothing is worth this kids horrible behavior. Good job food city you hired a winner.
Manager Richard is amazing. He went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful for his patience and help! If you ever need someone to fish you balloons down… Richard is your man!
