Hands down the BEST authentic Jamaican food anyone, could ever ask for. My first piece of Jerk pork reminded me of a Pork Pit place in Montego. The chicken in my opinion is better than the chicken I, had during my trip to Jamaica. The meats are well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The macaroni reminded me, of my grandmother's, macaroni during my '80s childhood, This was also, perfectly made not limiting; the Plantains. Worth noting my food was ordered 1 hour before closing and everything was fresh. I support this family-owned business and Promise it will not disappoint your taste buds..
The chef here Nigel is an amazing cook, also the host who serves too, Junnette is so polite and well mannered so patient as well. David who works the register is always so welcoming to me. Food is 10/10 super delicious every time. I come here all the time and it’s always worth it. They’re on Uber as well
Great food!! I got the large jerk chicken with extra sauce and when I tell you that chicken is cooked to perfection . Everything was great! Customer service was 10/10. Highly recommended!!!!
The food is delicious. The set up is lunch counter style take out. The place could use a facelift but I guess it shouldn't matter since the place is a take out establishment.Food: 5/5
This is by far the best Jamaican restaurant I've ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-notch. For example, I ordered an Escovitch fish dinner with Oxtail gravy, and when we brought it home, they forgot to put the gravy on it. The owner Andrew drove 30+ mins to bring us the gravy. The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this amazing restaurant to anyone looking for authentic delicious Jamaican food and excellent service. I love this restaurant!
I work for Lincoln IT in Hicksville. The owner of the company wanted to try a traditional Jamaican lunch. I ordered enough food for 40 people, which included, Oxtails, Beef Patties, Rice n Peas, Stew Chicken, Rasta Pasta and a Black Cake to wash it all down. Andrea the owner of Island Flavor, was upbeat and very helpful. She walked me through the traditional Jamaican foods and gave me ideas of what to order. Today was our luncheon and EVERYONE loved the food. Andrea delivered it herself with a smile! Great lunch today from my new Favorite place Island Flavor, Jerk Cuisine. Thank you Andrea! 5 stars all the way.

They are always friendly when i go , the rasta pasta is a great price for alot of it and it is beyond amazing spicy or no spicy veggies in them too. The sweet chili chicken is out of this world and the salmon. I tell everyone go come here and try this at least once and also they have home made drinks FroZen the peanut butter one is my favorite. I thank u for all the hard work u put in to make the food and the best part its a small business family owned and they make u feel right at home..

Nice carryout on long island..... the sit down area is not the same as shown online. We took ours as carryout was going to.have lunch there at first.....snapper was good, mango drink was totally awesomeFood: 5/5
